These injuries are working to Jason's advantage..... he is putting together some deep and strange combinations and letting 'em play together. Like a young blues player.... they just need mileage together.... and once again, as long as the bench is active and scoring and defending, we don't need those starters to win games.... and thank you Marcel for giving kudos to Spence... Like i said, he is the $3M wunderkind.... even when his shots aren't dropping, his orchestrating the offense and defense is all we got him back for anyway and points are just a bonus with him.... And to be clear..... we don't need our starters to win games BUT..... we DO NEED a rested starting line-up for the playoffs..... Here’s what needs to happen: once the team gets healthy, continue to start naji over klay. Klay would be a much better 6th man for this team. Naji based on stats and eye test is a better defender, better role guy, and unfortunately better shooter in some ways( no disrespect to klay, still one of the goats from 3). And finally Luka needs to let play in the offense and not be the offense. This stretch should get in Luka’s mind that he has help, he just has to embrace it

I knew Dinwiddie was going to ball out for us. When a player gets a DNP, 5 mins, 8 mins, 15 mins, DNP, 3 mins, it freezes them out. And they tend to chase their shots instead of letting it come to them. Now that Dinwiddie is getting more minutes, he's letting the game come to him. And 89% of the time, he's making the correct reads. Cant ask for much more.

He’s more useful on defense and tends to be more of a liability on offense. I think we’ll end up trading him at the deadline and hopefully bring back DFS before anyone gets their hands on him. @ DFS is better than Maxi. Mavs need more wing depth and DFS has that and he’s a good perimeter defender and a better shooter than Kleber. Kleber has had trouble staying healthy and it should be time to move on from him at the trade deadline. DFS already knows how to play in the Mavs system and was a perfect fit into rotation. Almost every team is after him now since he rose in Dallas and he’d be more perfect for Dallas when he’s played with them before and since he’s best friends with Luka. It only makes sense to try and bring him back it’s not that far out of the teams reach to reunite with him especially at the trade deadline
