They are 10-8 and we haven't even hit 25 games yet. They have plenty of time to adjust and mesh together as the season goes on. Mavs will have to fix the holes that got revealed against Boston. One is that Kyrie's one on one doesn't open any options if he isn't able to get a shot from doing all his dribbling. Another is how a player like Al Horford completely disrupted their offense when they don't have a person like Gobert to isolate. Obvious one is Luka not being in shape. Another is Luka's desire to play like Harden while everyone is waiting for him to do something. If Oklahoma fixes their offensive flow problems, then the Mavs may not get back to the finals for a while. Then that may be when Luka starts to have back problems. Which I'm still thinking is likely to happen because he won't ever want to get in good shape.

Intuit Dome isn't all that. It's significantly smaller than Crypto and the cost of parking in the structure built across the street for the dome is a ridiculous 68.00 and up. That allows you to have a pretty long almost 1/2 mile walk into the arena across a walk bridge that's already showing cracks in the concrete, if you can figure out the ubiquitous course it takes to get to the bridge from the multiple parking levels or you could take your life in your hands trying to cross the street. Honestly I prefer the overall experience of Crypto and can't stand the Clippers logo on the floor and their uniforms. It looks like the front of a cruise ship not a sailing clipper. It's definitely a money grab by a subpar team. Even navigating around the arena is extreme. The outdoor court in the courtyard area seems to be inviting, but no one is allowed to play on it. The multiple examples of basket/backboard sculpture is a bit ridiculous as well. I'm sure someone got paid a significant bag for that crap.

Mavs have won 5 of the last 6 by the time i watched this video, only losing to Chicago in overtime. If they would have won 3 out of those 4 close games they lost which i watched myself then this video wouldnt even exist. Make it to the playoffs healthy and the conversation is a different one.

Luka is the perfect example of a great talent with very poor will to grind.

just wait till after the all-star break, thats when they caught on fire last season.

Only team in the west to make 2 conference finals appearances in the past 3 years. Not “one year wonders,” let’s get that straight. Mavs run the west for Luka’s prime.
@tylerclifton9811Ай бұрын
They're a one year wonder because they screwed up the offseason. Letting go of Tim Hardaway and Derek Jones Jr. for Klay Thompson was a mistake. Klay's time as a stater has passed and they boxed themselves into this situation. Klay isn't what he was and he nor the rest of the league besides the Warriors realized that in the offseason.
@iamtheonlywillyАй бұрын
Warriors fans realized it the season he came back. The jealous look in his eyes, and greed from watching young Jordan Poole get that fat check his mind ain’t been right since. He was just on the team for that fourth ring and that’s it. He was not essential to winning that season.

Yeah Mavs will really regret parting with Tim Hardaway Jr, this guy knows his stuff

Klay can shoot 0/10 and would still be better than having Tim Hardaway Jr, who was unplayable during the playoffs last year.

@huhhhhhh522529 күн бұрын
@@JamesHarris-st7le you are definitely a casual, wemby can’t lead a team by himself, you said he is good at defense but you’re just looking at his stats, like a casual. Spurs have the 22nd worst defensive rating in the league and are the 10th seed which is more proof that wemby can’t lead a team. He’s only chucking 3s like a guard when he should be aggressive in the post. Meanwhile Tatum is clearly able to lead a team and average 30 on offense while being particularly great on defense- you are a casual with no nba knowledge, just stop bro 😂

Anyone who thought Klay was gonna get them over the top is stupid! Everyone said Klay sucked last year and now he is supposed to save this team? Just stupid. Klay leaves-Warriors are 12-4. Klay joins the Mavericks they are 9-8.

Perhaps, if Luca will pass the ball to the fittest opened players, they will support the thoughts of defending more in orders to witness better team chemistry and locker room devoted positive energetic teammates unwavering workable spirits.

The problem is cuban and his antics with the team it is toxic .... LMFAO na but letting DJ Jr go was bad and having Klay stresses the defense you could've acquired a lower name 3pt hitter that actually prices on 3 like a Derrick white not him because he locked in on Boston but someone like that like Celtics picked up Jrue Holiday someone like that what you paid Klay you could've definitely got someone of that style

The mavs were really lucky last year, they were barely eligible for the playoffs, played a injured clippers team, nearly went to game 7 against the youngest team in nba history to make the playoffs, the Thunder had no experience and everyone but SGA had the worst games of their careers due to that, and when they played the wolves, the wolves just straight up forgot how to play.
@maxpotenza9868Ай бұрын
An yet the mavs were the underdogs in every series....
@saulom.dАй бұрын
Bro, stop lying to yourself. The clippers were one of the best teams in the playoffs, Kawhi suffered an injury, but the team was strong in general. The thunder were the first team in the west conference and you know damn well that Shai was playing even better than he was playing all season with 32.2/8/7.3. After that they played the Timberwolves and let me tell you something, a good team does not stop playing good for no reason or no injury, they played worse than the Mavs because they didn't react as they should've. With all that said take into account that Luka was injured all the playoffs, they were not lucky, they played better than the rivals in the most difficult run to the finals of the last playoffs, so stop hating.
@huhhhhhh522529 күн бұрын
how are the wolves getting destroyed by the mavs lucky? timberwolves had all their players but they just got dismantled by the mavs, clippers are always injured- kawhi is just stealing money from the franchise, and the thunder swept the pelicans in the first round experience isnt an excuse if they already know how to beat an experienced team like the pelicans 💀

You lost me at could they be one year wonders...given that the Mavs made it to the western finals, had a hickup after losing brunson in free agency, then made it to the finals last year, yea I think they 're way past that question thanks to Nico and all the staff. Couldn't make it past the intro.

Luka is not and never really has been in NBA shape. Now for the rest of us, maybe he would be fine. But for NBA conditioning he falls short. And Klay Thompson has to understand he's a role player and not a star at this point in his career
