I was at this gig and I've seen the damned in all different line ups loads of times and this was by far the best I've ever seen them.From start to finish no mucking around just pure punk rock as it should be done.£75 a ticket ??? I would have gladly paid £100

I saw the Damned live a number of times from late '70s to late '80s ...but kept 'an ear out ' keeping track of what's happened since .... It's been an experience. Thanks guys .

Saw them back in 85/6 or so up in Level 8 Strathclyde Uni. Strawberry flavoured smoke from the smoke machine pervaded the venue. Raw Rock & Roll, remember it well..

Yup, just hand it to 'Deadly Dave' Vanian ...& that hollow bodied ,wooden bass is matchsticks... ( Hofners don't come cheap y'know !)

Saw them in Birmingham, Captain had problems smashing his bass guitar then , should've got Dave to do it. Mind you he did manage to break it once he dropped the mic stand on it .... Go Captain Sensible 😆 🤣
