Doctor, Here’s the thing.. the DA IS focusing on these issues you mentioned. They just don’t come at it like dinosaurs stuck in the past. You cannot liberate infrastructure, you cannot viva viva jobs, you cannot change a street name to fix crime. The DA governed areas work better. They’re not perfect but statistics do not lie. Less crime, less corruption, lower unemployment, better infrastructure. Why not focus first on creating jobs and fixing infrastructure. These two go hand in hand. What will that help? Lowering crime. If people feel safer, they will invest in and visit SA. What will that do? Create more jobs. Giving these people a chance to earn enough to take care of their families, that is liberating. The DA, nor any other party, cannot erase the past. But why focus on it?? The ANC did well for about 10 years. All failure since then has been not on the past, but on the ANC. You’re a smart guy, maybe too influenced by your father to look past that old man dinosaur comrade logic. That doesn’t and will not ever fix anything. Actually fixing the current issues like the DA, and to an extent a couple of smaller parties, are trying to do.. that is the true method of liberating these people stuck in unemployment and poverty.
