@@stealphiee Yep I am, all of those characters do more damage for combos that require less work, as Dan has to do very long combos that have tighter frame windows and still does super par damage. The only good thing about Dan is his short V skill and his pressure, which is like decent and not even top tier. Dan is bad and doesn't have much going for him.

@@tempatchtheveryweird3665 Character strenght isn't just about combos. You can have high damage combos but it does not matter if you can't get in a position to use them. Gief has no neutral whatsoever, and the worst combos in the game, being pretty much unable to use meter to extend/make his combos more damaging outside of CA (which has poor range and you have to do normal straight to CA, mind you.) Dan has issues (only really good when relatively close to you, generally slightly below average damage) but his pressure is some of the best in the game bar none. He's volatile, but in no way bottom 3, or even low tier.

VS1/VT1 and VS2/VT2 Dan are very different, but both are really fun. VS2/VT2 is probably always better, but VS1/VT1 gives him the sauce.

I swear my favorite thing about dan in 5 isnt even that hes actually good. But the fact that in order to nerf him and take away his infinite they added an rng faster and stronger fireball.
