The dance of hair in the wind, my most complex wooden automata toys

In this video I show you some of my most complex automatons to make, the mechanism is simple, but it has many components, there are at least 114 elements in iron and wood, only in the mechanical part. For the hair I used synthetic wool and scraps of fabric.

I enjoy these so much because of all the movement with the hair. Beautiful work, awesome craftsmanship. I was wondering if you might make some with men that have long beards flowing in the wind. They could be bald men, or have long hair too. Perhaps Vikings, Lumberjacks, Wizards, or even Knights or Warriors.

Love these! The shield maiden reminds me of Eowyn as she stands in the wind before Meduseld in The Two Towers movie. And I think a mermaid would look good with this effect, especially if you could get the waves to move as well. Is that your family at the end? 😊
