@SzaraSzarancza Жыл бұрын
The question is, did they have enough intel, clues and hints (provided by DM) before the meeting even started to have any sort of a plan? On the other hand, they did not conduct proper recon before the mission to obtain the necessary information, so yet again they ended up in typical "blind date with their destiny" kind of situation with only some basic hints about their target and a single trump card that they had on the hand which they completely wasted.
@LuizAlexPhoenix Жыл бұрын
Yeah, for the expedience of the campaign they just go straight into things. No going around seeking intel or infiltrating places, they just go where the quest marker points them to.
@Veritas.0 Жыл бұрын
Modern DMing. Adjust reality to fit what the players are doing, (The DM writes on the fly as the players change the situation) While old school is having it written out and if they push the wrong button or engage the wrong monster, tough break, you're dead. The modern way keeps the story going but there's no real story conflict, and works better for situations like this where the fact that it keeps going is more important than where it goes.
