The ignorance.... the only stipulation is that you not be a Professional Ballroom Dancer. You could have trained in every dance style under the sun, yes even BALLROOM, but you just can't be a "Professional Ballroom Dancer" . That being said, it's a vote for your favorite show . Contestants can come in with advantages in all areas, experience, an established fan base, athletic advantages, you name it, at the end of the day it's the luck of the draw if you resonate with voters. If being a professional gives one an advantage, how do you explain last season? A little known football player (Rashad) with even less experience than Stirling, beat out not one but two professional dancers! Jordan won fair and square, and frankly I'm glad this show allows dancers like him on. He gave some of the best performances I've seen in the history of this show!

NORMANI.. is in a girl group (singing/dancing for a living), HATHER MORRIS... freakin danced w/ Beyonce, and then CORBIN from HSM (one of Disney's most watched cable tv movie/ musicals.. and even ZENDAYA or TAMAR (famous pop stars) found it challenging. The point is, it was hard for all of them... both during and after the show, they preach how difficult Ballroom dancing was. WHICH IS WHY JORDAN WINNING IS STILL IMPRESSIVE (cause dance experience isn't Ballroom Dance experience)

U gotta give credit to Lindsey Stirling for going up against a professional dancer & coming really really close to winning too! Ppl should not get upset on comments regarding Jordan being a trained dancer bcoz he did have an EDGE considering he is a dancer! We all vote & support fo different reasons! I most love Mark & Lindsey bcoz they both had an incredible journey, their partnership & friendship appreciated & felt in their dances routines together! And Mark hands down created phenomenal choreography that will remain memorable & iconic! This season has been epic! Yhnx to Mark & Lindsey

Heather Morris is what you call a Professional dancer. Jordan is NOT! And in case you didn't knew Lindsey Stirling also has dance experience but denied it. Also she's the one who had the EDGE because she already did ballroom before (she danced a freaking Argentine Tango with Derek freaking Hough). But I guess you are just bitter that is why you are speaking nonsense. Enjoy being salty tho while Jordan and Linds savoured their well deserved win! :))))

Jordan LITERALLY has "Ballroom dance" on his IMDb resume (from the start) as well as BALLET, TAP, STEP, and other forms of dance. Either he is a pro dancer or he lies on his own resume. He and his fans need to pick a story and stick to it. Lindsey was an auto-didact and the Arena dance was a two hour choreography session for about 20 seconds of video- on dirt with multiple re-takes. Apples and watermelons...

Lindsay Arnold is a great choreographer and had a ringer in Jordan to showcase it, BUT it's this season's choreography by Mark Ballas with an untrained partner that I'm going to remember, including the off the chart, robotic, Argentine Tango. Incidentally, why did GMA, seat Mark & Lindsey in the back when they came in 2nd place? They should have been seated upfront, next to the winners.

She only had two rehearsals with Derek and it wasn't a full dance. It was very broken up because it was for a video. Her other dancing is completely self taught and therefore she has a ton of bad habits. Its hard to unlearn and relearn things the correct way. I'd say in many ways harder then learning things from scratch because you have to forget what you knew.

Jordan did not need to win this trophy. Things like this ruin the show. What is the point of bringing a person who has been hired as a professional dancer in the past, to an amateur dance competition? To prove that a pro can beat an amateur? All other contestants had to learn to dance as well as learn the choreography, while Jordan only had to learn the choreography. There is no salt because Jordan won, but because he was asked to enter the competition in the first place. He belongs on So You Think You Can Dance, not on Dancing With the Stars. I really don't understand the smugness of Jordan's fans. I mean, you supported a pro versus amateurs, and when the pro obviously won, you start bragging as if that was an incredible achievement. Jordan's presence on the show has stollen the trophy from people who actually worked hard for it. That is not something to brag about. Either bring only pros (and compete with So You Think You Can Dance) or bing only amateurs (and stay the way it was envisioned), but combining pros with amateurs is completely pointless. No one pays to see a boxing match between a heavy weight champion and a beginner, because the outcome is already known. Everyone expected Jordan to win since the lineup was announced. This HAS made the show very predictable and not as exciting as it should have been. There was no suspense, no favorites, no questions about who is going to win. It was just a waiting game for the pro dancer to win. Maybe they did this to make Lindsay win her first trophy, but they should have set her up with an amateur who is good, not with a pro that completely took all the suspense out of the show. Dancing With the Stars is a show about who can learn the most, and become the better of the group in a friendly atmosphere, not a competition in which amateurs are somehow miraculously supposed to beat a champion, a thing that also destroys the friendly atmosphere because of frustration. Anyway, people are allowed to complain, since they have a good reason to, while Jordan fans need to stop it with the bragging, because they know very well that this was not a fair competition. Jordan is good, but he is literally a pro, and was hired as a pro dancer before. Any fan of his should know this. Looks like to me that there is more salt coming from Jordan's fans, because other people don't want to agree that he deserved the trophy, even though he was a pro vs amateurs.

Agree- but Jordan needs some work-he doesn't have much going on and can go on the DWTS tour. Lindsey has so many irons in the fire she is delaying projects she is expanding into due to the DWTS invite. The DWTS tour would be slumming for her skills and would be a waste of her time-she has an ongoing tour with BCJean as it is.

Jordan may have been the best dancer. (what do you expect from someone who has trained for and danced on Broadway?) but Lindsey Stirling was the best performer by far. Not too disappointed though, she lost on AGT and came back 10X stronger. This has put her into millions of more homes worldwide and showed her to be a marketable property. The sky is the limit from here on out. Commercial contracts, her music in major TV shows and movies. We will forget Jordan the way we did Michael Grimm. Lindsey forever KSLL!

I will add that although the Jordan .he is a good dancer but you can't compare a Broadway dancer to a property brother vs a shark tank. So it would be better to have people you can compare .
