Technically Chandler was the best, in my opinion. But honestly for people like Joey and Stephen to have ZERO dance experience, they really went above and beyond to get to where they were!! So kudos to Joey!! Stephen’s freestyle made me cry! 😭 They did so good.

If you even watched the show you could see how difficult the dances were for Chandler. Joey and Jenna’s freestyle dance was a bit underwhelming hence not getting a perfect score. Chandler and Brandon have been at the top most nights and deserved to win. Especially last night, they had perfect scores for both dances. This show is definetly a popularity contest.

@ disagree. And you are incorrect. Chandler has had extensive dance experience as well as acting.. she is a performer by profession. The dances were difficult for all but especially for those with zero experience. Chandler should never have been allowed to compete due to experience. Carrie Ann did everything she could to be biased towards Ilona and Chandler. She’s an unfair judge all tbe time on all shows. She needs to go. Joey deserved to win… and truly Ilona was the most improved but not sure that deserved a second place spot. That probably should have gone to Chandler due to dancing skill

Chandler was good, but very forgettable and bland. It is not very exciting to watch someone with previous dance experience. There is no improvement. And improvement/growth is what makes for an exciting contestant

In my opinion, Chandler and Brandon won. I'm proud to be black and witness these two make history. Every couple on that show deserves to win. Joey and Jenna did a great job, but I honestly think that Chandler and Brandon should have won. Or at least got second place. I'm not hating on Joey and Jenna or any couple that performed, but my mouth dropped to the floor when they said 3rd place, followed by Chandler and Brandon. Y'all know they deserved more. Still, the cast did a great job, I'm so excited for the next season! For season 34, if there are any fellow Armys out there, wouldn't it be great if one of the BTS members was part of the celebrity cast. Personally, I think Jimin would kill it on DWTS. So far, this was the best season. But I think they can top it if DWTS ups its diversity.

I’m still amused that people keep mis-identifying the gymnasts from Stephen’s dance. None of them went to the Olympics nor were they his Penn State teammates. They’re all Stanford students or alumni, and they were all on the US National Team for men’s gymnastics at some point. So they know Stephen from the national team and their training camps.
