Man I remember this in 97 or 98 coming on MTV, within another 4 or 5 years the oxycontin epidemic came along like a hurricane and decimated people's lives, I immediately thought of this song when I saw what was happening. I hope anyone with an addiction was able to overcome it and make it through.

Check out the documentary "Dig!", they followed the Dandys and another band they were friends with at the time called The Brian Jonestown Massacre for like 7 yrs. Whenever I hear this song , which I love, I can’t help but remember the pissy fit the video’s director had when the lead singer questioned his Aesthetic / editing. An amazing behind the scenes rock documentary about two similar bands…. The Dandy Warhols and Brian Jonestown massacre….. it’s called , “Dig”. Very candid.
