Great song from a band that still sounds as fresh as they did in the 90’s.
@Mysticalsmile7776 ай бұрын
I actually love when bands still keep their sounds. I get it when bands want to evolve, it's perfectly normal but then it also takes away that original sound that you were known for. So om glad that you guys haven't lost that at all. Y'all still got it in my opinion 👍🏼 this is truly amazing.!!!!

Agree, and the ai is wonderful. I don’t understand why people have so much against it, at least in this situation. It’s just like another form of art. You wouldn’t look at the painting of the Mona Lisa, and say yeah, I’d rather just see a photograph. Not a perfect analogy, but I just woke up.

its made from stolen art made by other struggling artists. It's farmed content by algorithms and AI needs to be ignored.
@Bikewithlove23 күн бұрын
@@jessellis7359- Oh it’s worse than that. It’s already inventing full artificial academic works complete with identities, images, and social media accounts. As soon as I saw it coming from Cambridge University, I deleted my X account & got a refund on my blue check. You have no idea what you’re interacting with anymore, which is an instant form of psychosis. AI now has a better rate of captcha solving than humans. Remember those Google CEOs who freaked out & quit over AI? Think about it. I think the Dandys made good use of AI in these videos because of their tongue-in-cheek/sardonic humor, but beyond this, it’s going to be a wild ride.

:( All extant AI art models are created thought the theft of artists' labour.
@lektromike16 ай бұрын
Could we say the same thing about the artists inspirations that they get from the nature, surroundings or another artists work and ideas? Would that be considered theft too? Where is the moral line here?
@TristanFrodelius6 ай бұрын
@@lektromike1 No. We could not. There is a long list of problems with the existing implementation of AI art generation tools, but where specifically the art theft is concerned, AI art generators don't experience inspiration or creativity. They are tools that take - _in their entirety_ - the works of artists, and they don't undergo creative thought. They aren't inspired and aren't riffing on ideas. Because they don't _understand_ ideas. They don't know what a hand or a colour scheme or an environment are, and therefore are not themselves being "inspired by" that art. And nor are the people using those tools being inspired by that art either. A person does not know all of the images that were taken to create an AI art model. There is no creative relationship between the works used and those created. That link is severed. Artistic inspiration is like a person walking down a street and seeing hyacinth in somebody's garden and thinking "oh, hyacinth is pretty! I could probably plant some of my own next to my Gladiolus flowers!" and then buying some seeds to grow hyacinths in their own garden. AI art tools are like a vehicle that drives down the street and takes the flowers directly from people's gardens without their consent, and then selling bunches of them as bouquets without human involvement. A human designed and built the machine to go down streets and take those flowers, but the link between art and derivation doesn't exist in AI art. That plus the AI art tools - because of the way they are programmed to scrape the internet - violate NDAs and take artworks that are meant to be behind fan support services. The defense of AI art is very much the same camp as "well you posted it online, so you don't own it anymore and I can take it and remove the watermark and tell people I drew it!" or "you should be thanking me for reposting your art on the same platform! It got more engagement than your post, so more people saw it!". There's a mentality of removing artists right to their own creations and their own labour. If AI art tools had been implemented like how some people create royalty-free photography and the artists whose work was used said "yeah, go ahead! You can take it and make AI art with it!" then it would be fine. The technology isn't even evil; it has potential use cases. But no existing AI art tools are made ethically, because the only way to source enough art to create a data pool large enough to build AI art tools is by scraping images the internet. There's also that fact that that means that they scrape medical websites with outdated and/or poorly secured infrastructure hosting images in private medical records, as well as CSAM, and also in some cases violating NDAs. All of which is to say: no inspiration is taking place in the use of an AI art tool. A person _can_ be inspired by art that they see, and have an idea of their own that they want to create, and use an AI art tool to do so, but the art theft, and divorcement between that person's own creativity and the art used in the _AI,_ are both still present. Unfortunately.
@TristanFrodelius6 ай бұрын
@@lektromike1 I wrote a longform response explaining the reasons why, but KZbin is deciding to hide it. So I'll give the short version. No, we could not. Machines are not inspired, do not understand concepts for them to be inspired, and take artworks in their entirety.
