🌻✨ Thank you for your reflection on this topic. Fully agree, dear Anja. It's important not to embarc on believes and concepts...

A good video, as usual😊 Thought-provoking. When I say "it's not their fault," I'm not at all advocating or suggesting that a person not be punished or held accountable for the action. They have to experience the consequences if they hope to change or if we hope to change them. What I really mean is that they don’t have much of a choice in how they act. Some of us do, but some don’t. I don’t feel like I’m better than a mass murderer or a rapist, I haven’t done those acts, but I know I have the seeds in me to do anything that any human being has ever done. Those seeds in me simply haven’t been watered in this lifetime. You're right though; I can’t know for sure if our souls evolve, or if there’s a soul at all. It’s a model, though, that lets me deal with ugly human behavior in a very compassionate way. I try not to judge anyone for anything, because I know the seed to behave that way is inside of me too. It's when we are 100% sure that we have never and could never behave that way that we judge people harshly and treat them as inhuman. I'd really enjoy talking more with you about this, but this probably isn’t the right avenue. Again, thank you for the video!

I for sure believe we have a soul. And I understand where you're coming from when it comes to compassion. At the same time I have learned, that when we don't know how to balance compassion with keeping people accountable and also seeing others for who they are without making excuses for them. It can become very quickly something, where we stop being discerning. I love Kristin Neff's approach of fierce compassion. Still have to look a little bit more into it. Also, I don't believe that judgement is a bad thing as such. It has its place. By the way, there will be probably soon a chance to chat with me more. I'll call it the 'Dreamy Cappuccino Gatherings'. Hopefully I'll be able to give more info next week.

@@anjakerstenThank you for the dialogue; this is stuff that I think most people don’t talk about or even consider. To me, judgment is something that can easily lead to subtle or overt arrogance. I think most judgment doesn’t stop at judging the action by itself, but instead it leads to judging the person as a whole. It’s then easy to label someone as a bad person, instead of a person who temporarily exhibited unconscious behavior that I too am capable of exhibiting. Again, i’m not suggesting that non-judgment should result in non-action. A murderer needs to be removed from society, but not making a broad judgment of them isn’t necessary or helpful to anyone

It's definitely something we should keep in check! I mean we have a limited language to describe stuff too so we might resort to using the new age terminology, which is ok in certain contexts. I definitely feel some beings have an inverted kind of soul, like your psychic vampire types! But I try to view things in a less hierarchical and elitist fashion, its a work in progress...

@@RedHerringMedia yes, it’s for sure all a work in progress 😊
