Simon Interesting story, like you it wouldn't have been my situation either. But as long as everyone is OK/ happy . I've been married to two foreigners, but in both instances we lived in their respective countries....no problem either way, just the way it worked out... Good luck with the 4k goal... Cheers Glenn

@@SpeakingofAsia I don't get out much. Because I AM a cheap bastard. I AM taking this evening for myself and spoiling myself, and enjoying the evening. And we are not ruining it girls that think we have money. Even though we live frugal. The girls will never understand this.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you say if you don't feel comfortable to bring them back to your home country you probably are not in the best relationship

I've seen a case where the Filippina took up the opposite political party in the home country. That drove the man crazy. I would say don't do it. Too many things can go wrong. Move near her momma and enjoy your life.

My Ex-Filipina wife used me to get British citizenship. Fortunately, we did not have any children and she considered the house to be mine and she only wanted to settlement so that she could leave and go to London. I did not like the story because it’s a nice man being totally scammed and the Filipina being the big winner. To me, just a sad story.

Sounds like He did everything right it should not matter where they live honesty was the problem she didn't have it and its not the kids fault its on her I believe what comes around goes around not a happy story but He proved his character and better off without her
@EdgarDeem-yc7ml4 ай бұрын
I think he wanted the kids from the very start so his heart was open to them. To lose them completely would have done him a lot of harm. I hope the mother doesn’t try and turn the kids against him. I wish your friend the best of luck. Been enjoying watching your videos last few weeks when I found out about you . Good luck on your journey

it is well understood, that if you bring a female from the developing world back to a western country, she quickly takes on the values / attitudes of the local females....it is generally considered a bad idea....
@mcluvin654 ай бұрын
@@globalnomad1221 no if you take a woman with little or no opportunities in her home country to a country with lots of opportunities she is going to seize the moment, it doesn't have to be just love, could be education or work but chances are you were the best of the worst in her home country when you return to your country and you are the worst of the lot, she is going to leave you, same as you would do in her country, you would pass her by to talk to the younger prettier girl.

females become like the females around them, if you bring them to a feminist misandric country, they will become that....

Without knowing the reasons for the relationship breakdown it seems a bit simplistic to imply the mother was a gold-digger ; by your own admission, he never had any money to start with. Perhaps your initial hunch about your friend was correct. Perhaps he's bisexual leaning more towards being gay. It has to be said that if so, that puts a somewhat different spin on him wanting access to the children and what his motivation might be. Could be that he's living his life in the closet.
@SpeakingofAsia4 ай бұрын
A mercenary or a gold digger whichever word you want to use. I think the fact that she lied about both babies from the start, the fact that she was sleeping with other people and that she' hasn't gone back to the Philippines, not even for a visit speaks volumes about her motivations. I think her mission from the start was to get to the UK and Manny was simply a tool to achieve her objective
@lesterbangs34174 ай бұрын
@@SpeakingofAsia Fair points, Simon. There is also the less talked about flip-side of the gold-digging filipina, which is the westerner who pretends to have more money than he really has. It would be easy to say your friend was naive in thinking that the children were his and that his filipina would stay loyal in an ldr relationship, but it may be that he is in the closet and still wanted to feel part of a family and was happy to fund it to keep up appearances in the possibility that he is the dad. The filipina wants the best for her and the kids and yes, she sees your friend as a bit wet behind the ears. She brings the family over and discovers he's skint and is more interested in dancing in the mirror and playing with the kids than showing affection to her. She seeks refuge in the local PH community. I appreciate this sounds like a slight on your friend but with the limited information it's a possibility. Appearances are not always what they seem.
