Felix changed historical doctrines 1. The Trinity 2. The Deity of Jesus Christ These are clearly doctrines held by the Church for two thousand years. And Felix Manalo preached a different doctrine. Denying the Deity of Jesus and the Trinity.

Of course, it's not all about listening and saying "ah, yes, that's it" A student should study what he hears o kung ano ang kanyang pinapakinggan For instance, in the case of Felix Manalo, the Scriptures do not in any way make hint about him --- a man in the Philippines? Totally divorced from God's chosen people /Israel? A covenant people through Abraham. To read Felix Manalo from the Pen of the Prophet Isaiah is very much nonsensical. For instance, I would like to ask; 1. Did FYM have a biblical languave knowlege? Did he know the Bible was Hebrew / Greek? To formulate doctrines out of translations must be hard even to a college graduate student

@ctt59 you can research more about Council of Nicaea. It’s the council that declared/established the doctrine about “Trinity” eventhough it’s not in the Bible. As if studying history disproves the trinity or the deity of Jesus No. Church councils have purposes why doctrine declaration happens. It is to counter heresies or arising lowering of the status of Jesus. Some groups in the early centuries of the church have thought Jesus to be not a real historical figure. Such doctrines the church fathers counter to establish Jesus status as a central figure in the church through which salvation comes So, available resources about teachings about Jesus are all available and be studied more than just reading and employ interpretations

What verse "Jesus is God and Lord?" You probably forgot this “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” Acts 2:36 The fact that Jesus wasn't lord in the past because GOD MADE HIM LORD. That means Jesus didn't have the title lord until the Father consecrated him into that position. I thought you people believe that God the son and God the Father as equal? This Is Catholisism by John Walsh pp. 186-186 "Q. 10 Are the three divine Persons perfectly equal to one another? "Each of the divine Persons is perfectly equal to the other two, each possess the same divine nature and each is God. The Father, then, is not older or greater than the Son, Nor are the Father and Son superior to the Holy Ghost." What does the bible teach on what decides who is greater than one another? John 13:16. ESV Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. So the one who is the messenger is greater than the one who is sent. The sender is greater than who is sent Now is there any proof that the Father is Greater than Christ? "My father is GREATER than I" John 14;28 My, my there is a contradiction between your cathesism and the bible? Your Cathesism: "The Father, then, is not older or GREATER than the Son" The Bible: "My father is GREATER than I" John 14;28 Who am I to follow? Jesus who said the father is GREATER or your priest saying they are equal?

@@cyanara5523 🙋FYI, I am not a Catholic. The verse (Acts 2:36) you have quoted simply proves that Jesus divinity is from the Father. It does not rebut the fact that Jesus is Lord.

@@cyanara5523 🕵️John 14:28 simply means that the Father has greater authority than the Son. However, both have equal divinity working as one God. 🕵️That is why Jesus follows the instructions of the Father.

Why cant you answer this contradiction? You already admit that they are no equal in authority but this book says they are not greater or superior to one another. Who am I going to believe then? The one who fomulated the doctrine or you who just state an opinion contradicting?
