I disagree, it feels like a full fledged game. Like everything is layed out, there's so much to do! But then you get to Canny, and then realize the story ends at Twine Peaks. You play Twine maybe for 30 hours, and then you go "Well, I'm close to max level. This game is fun, but there's nothing to do anymore. I'll check out the events every time they come out. It's a shame this game was swept. Goodbye, Save the World."

The amount of potential for Save The World is insane. I personally like the story and the very limited cinematics we got. I enjoy the core gameplay loop even after reaching late Twine. The only reason they don't focus on STW is because it doesn't generate them mountains of cash, if they had just made it free and released a shop for skins and cosmetics that easily could've funded the development. I have some hope that maybe one day Save The World will actually get the love it deserves.

not even harder, enemies just get more health. No change in AI , no change in map design. Nothing. Imagine if it was like Doom Eternal, where enemies on higher difficulties deal more damaged but they have same health and aren't bullet sponges, and enemies get much smarter and way more aggressive on high difficulties. that would have been awesome.

I think they ran into an issue similar to Black Ops 4. they couldn't figure out how to tie the two modes together (Singleplayer/BR for Black Ops4 and BR/STW for Fortnite) and just gave up. Even now in STW it feels like there is something tied to BR that just isn't quite there. Likely something Dr. Vinderman is responsible for

Yeah it’s sad I invested so much time into STW got to 130 and everything had Ultimate Edition paid $250 for STW beat the campaign and it just felt like a slap in the face there wasn’t a conclusion or closure we beat the storm king and nothing changed and the game just ends like that we failed and the one girl died for nothing who ray was based on vinderman assistant.

I’ve played through the entire save the world story I miss the days where I would theorize about the next thing to happen when we were left off with that cliffhanger at the very end I spent the whole day theorizing the next step but then it stoped.So then I gave Battle royale a try in 2018 and now I Theorize about the Battle royale story and I hope that one day these two stories will be related in someway or expanded upon.

I have like the highest edition of STW you can get. Its super fun, the story is great...its just under appreciated. If i could buy it for some friends i would. Its a wonderful experience and it really does feel like what fortnite was suppose to be..it wasnt suppose to be a BR, that just was what took off...imagine a world where the Br wasnt popular..wed have a fully fledge, storyline complete, multiverse for save the world. Maybe one day we will get a proper team thatll work on it and the storyline will get fleshed out so we can learn more about the world.

For real, the original concept of fortnite save the world is much creepier and dark, even the feeling of the world was suppose to be more darker than l4d and the sound ost is much more creepier than what we have today. Well in random situation, there is an easter egg of the old game original concept. If you pay attention to the game background sound when you play one of the mission, you can hear the old zombie sound which is much creepier than the zombie sound that we have today

I really hope and they revamp stw after they are done with unreal editor. The storyline is so sick, most of the players want more. That could be the perfect state for fortnite. Having 3 modes that have lots of personality and everyone could play what they like. Really wish they could finish the storyline so that then stw can be complete.

RIP save the world, Karolina and Joel, the efforts the team has made to create STW are incredible, and I really wish it got more love. Maybe one day, if the packs sell really well epic might decide to update save the world. Honestly if they just got a seperate team to work on STW for a new story more etc It would be amazing. Fun fact did you know the final stage of the pickaxe upgrade in save the world called axehammer in battle royale is the rarest pickaxe you can barely find players have that because it's hard to grind for that pickaxe you have to level up a lot and upgrade the pickaxe to the max level in save the world to get it

It is now almost a year later since this video was uploaded. STW is now free.(yes you read that right) However the premium play (now only $12) gives you a treasure trove of extras which give you a giant advantage in story game mode and cooperative play. There are now weekly, daily, and seasonal events for STW that give you special skins that can be used in all game modes, but you gotta but the premium to get them...unfortunately. You can even use the skin you bought in the BR mode, but only for that bundle. I am not a employee of Epic and was not paid to say this. I think as time goes on STW will gain its own unique spot in the Fortnight gaming community. Rip to the Creators who passed.
