Godric Wyles and The Dark Emperors was something that I felt mixed about at the end of the Alius Academy arc. Like, we don't even know Godric's backstory or why and how he decided to meet Mark's other friends specifically. I honestly think Astram was a bit of a better villain.

I think they were sending the Alius teams to play raimon and injure some of the players on purpose so that they abandon them and recruit new ones, that way they will feel betrayed and then Wyles can convince them to try the Alius Meteorites to become stronger and get their revenge
