Before anyone goes off on the lie that Tisha is the reason the show ended, just STOP. Even Carl Anthony Payne (Cole) spoke of how Martin had become difficult to work with. Tichina backed up Tisha in an interview stating CLEARLY that Tisha absolutely had to leave and fight back. So no, Tisha didn't falsely accuse him because of her new husband or whatever other lies people have made up. Martin was going through a lot and you can even see how high he was in nearly every scene in the last two seasons. He did some bad things and Tisha eventually forgave him. So again, no, she didn't start talking to him again because she was having financial problems. HBO did a THOROUGH investigation and settled with Tisha because they knew she was in the right. Your lies and conspiracy theories against Tisha need to stop NOW. And thank you for your wonderful channel Juicy Pop. Thank you for listing and fully explaining exactly what working with Martin was like. Tisha was using the money she made to support a bunch of her family members so she had to suck up and take the abuse in the beginning until it was too much. We do NOT talk of how much hell Black actresses go through, dealing with racism AND sexism. I love his work but Martin owes a lot of people an apology.

Martin really was lightning in a bottle. What a time to be a kid in the 90s and experience this show and all the other great blk sitcoms of that time. Martin was definitely on that narcotic and running wild. In that 4/5 season that ninja was as high as a delta plane. And I believe Tisha. I believe between him being the "star" of the show, being on that narcotic, and getting too comfortable, it led to him being inappropriate with her. And no reboot. Tommy isn't here anymore. You missed an important piece. At the DMV was Sherman Hemsley (George Jefferson) also Martins Mom was a spin off version of George Jefferson’s Mom. Plus a few other things on this show. Like Pam and Martins relationship. Other then that. Good video.

Ok have to throw my voice in here. Gina didn't have a bad dentist visit, it was an avocado 🥑 mask which she was allergic to. I know as that's absolutely one of my favorite, along with the Halloween episode...oh and then the dwarves at the bar fighting Tommy and Martin over a girl. Also his characters were the best! "Ohhoooh..Jerome's in the house!"😂

I love how Tichina got the job on her own she’s so dope and I still watch Martin almost everyday 💕 my kids even watch it with me on Netflix. No show could ever replace that show. I wonder if it was the dr*gs that made Martin get out of hand. Wow I didn’t know Stan was shot and why would Martin fire him while he was fighting for his life?!!! That’s messed up smh wow.

He didn’t need to and who’s to say that he hasn’t tried to ? That would explain the restraining order against Martin bc he wasn’t respecting Tisha marriage & im a huge Martin fan but after the years if you go back & watch season 4-5 Martin was getting a little out of hand with his interaction with Gina especially season 5

It's crazy what fame does to people. One minute he's getting his big break in comedy by getting his own show and he immediately thinks of his friend for one of the lead roles. Then 4 years later his ego is so out of whack she's suing him for taking advantage of her on set.

JP 🥂That was great! I didn’t miss an episode of MARTIN 😂 . The only character that was missed was ‘Bruh Man’ played by Reginald Ballard(a fellow Libran born Oct 13). He lived on the 5th floor but held up 4 fingers 😆. Thomas Mikal Ford 🙏🏾 passed on my birthday…I just turned 50. I did hear about Martin’s questionable behavior. I can’t understand why anyone allowed the HE-nanigans to continue and sought out help for him. What happened to Tisha woulda never happened. I am glad they spoke and are better.

Outside of it obviously being hilarious I appreciated Martin for being a coming of age story about a young man. From the trouble he got himself into listening to his boys and Stan, trying to be in a relationship without being whipped, feeling hopeless when he loss his job, all of it hit different when I grew up

My favorite episode…hard to pick but regardless….the reunion. It was just one laugh after another and very relatable because people do want to have their best game for their 10 year reunion. My cousin had turned me on to the show and I loved it from the first time I saw it. Even my grandma, bless her memory, would watch it all day with me on reruns on the U in Chicago. Great time to be a teenager in the 90’s.
