I think that you've hit on one of the major points that oda is trying to make with this series, honestly. If you think back on Luffy's backstory and all the little comments that he's made along the way, I think that HE is aware of what the world is really like too. And that it's one of his major motivators for his dream (I'm guessing). People have mentioned the fact that he doesn't want to be called a "hero", but think about his reaction as far back as Alabasta, when Crocodile says that Vivi is naive for wanting to save everyone, to want to have no deaths. Luffy AGREES. He knows that that's how the world works, he has seen it up close and personal since he was a little kid. But unlike Crocodile, he doesn't think Vivi is stupid to want things to be different. I think that you can also see it in situations like with the paramount war. Luffy doesn't blame the world, because he already knows that the world is a cruel place and that it will never be fair, just, or kind. He blames himself. Just like all the times he has calmly accepted that he has no protection under the law, that he can expect no help when injustices are done to HIM, because he's a pirate. He has made his choice with his eyes open. I also find it significant that the one time that he has made a statement of wanting to change the way a whole country works was in Wano (when he vowes to make it a country without starvation). That's the one country he's been to that isn't a part of the world government. To change anything elsewhere would mean to change the World Government itself, and... well, maybe he's not so different from Dragon? That's just my speculation, though.

Luffy despite NOT wanting and realistic recognition beside food and getting finally title of "Pirate King" and finding One Piece, he was literal definition of freedom both by his will and actions, combined with luck of having such loyal crew.

I use to believe that. I seen people work and sacrifice for years to have nothing but body pain and pessimistic outlooks because they didn't luck out or were low iq. I seen people handed everything in life, and I seen people held back by others jealous. Hard work is a genuine virtue, but it should be taken with consideration that you may end up with nothing no matter how hard you work or sacrifice.

This is absolutely not true. Not in one piece and not in the real world. Oden was born a monster, big mom was born a monster, Luffy has his lineage, ace has his lineage, kaido was always a monster, kyros was always a monster, Zoro was always a monster, sabo was always a monster. There's no direct evidence but gold Roger was probably the same seeing as he took down a final boss first in rocks. I like when people do these videos cause it shows to the viewer that your not gonna be the naruto the deku or the ichigo of the verse. If your lucky you’ll be a side character but 90% of the time your gonna be and end up as dead background character or worse like in the marine ford thing. Your not gonna be those devil fruit or strong people dominating or speeding through the battle your gonna be the marine or pirate with their sword trying not to die fighting your enemy while the land beneath your feat could be shattered in an instant cause a main character got hit hard. Locals at sabaody prolly knew slavery is bad and just view it as the norm, since most of the slaves that are being sold came from countries unaffiliated with the world government. So as a normal person living in the OPverse even if they know that their government is evil, but as long as they're protected by that said government, they'll just turn a blind eye on all the horrors.(same goes from other countries that are under the umbrella of a yonko).

You have the privilege of being an observer to the OP world. The existence of Haki isn't even known to most civilians in the OP world. It's a hidden martial art that takes years of training to be somewhat decent at. Most people will never have the chance to learn it. It's also literally invisible to all but the most trained users.
