Tommy "Tiny" Lester's small, but memorable role, as the prisoner who throws the remote out of the window will forever be stuck in my head. LOVE that scene. RIP bro....

What really hit me about his scene is when he says, "You and I are destined to do this forever." I wanted that. So much. Ledger was absolutely amazing. I wanted to see him and Bale in the third. People forget what Bale did for Bats. Unfortunately, we lost a great actor who never got to see how great he is. Sure, he saw the cut before he died, but he didn't see the public's reaction. These two should have done if forever.

Joker Oh, you. You just couldn't tet me go, could you? This what happeng whe an unstoppable force. . . Meet an immovable objet. You truly are Incoruptible, aren you? Huh? You won't kill me. . . Out of some misplaced sense of seff-righteousness. And I won't kill you. . . Because you're just too much fun. I think you and I are destined to do this forever . Batman you'll be in a padded Cell forever . Joker Maybe we could share one. You know they'll be doubling up, the rate this city's inhabitants are losing their minds. Batman This city just showed you. . . That it's full of people ready to believe in good. Joker Until their spirt breaks completety. Until they get a good look at the real Harvey Dent. . . And all the heroic things he's done. You didn't think I'd risk losing the battle for Gotham's soul. . . In a fistfight with you? No. You need an Ace in the hole. Mine's Harvey. Batman What did you do? Joker I took Gotham's white knight. . . And I brought him down to our level. It wasn't hard. See, madness as you know. . . Is like gravity. All it takes is a little push,

It's incredible that even at this point in the movie, after all the shit that Joker has done, everyone - the characters and the audience - still take Joker's word at face value. Everyone on both boats seem to totally believe that Joker is telling the truth when he says that the detonator will blow up THE OTHER boat. When given the twisted nature of Joker's mind - and the sickening lie that he told Batman to get him to save Dent instead of Rachel - what are the chances of that being true? It would make a lot more sense and be much more consistent to assume that if Joker says that the detonator will blow up the other boat, it probably won't. The only thing funnier to Joker than the idea of people blowing up strangers is people blowing themselves up while they blow up strangers. There is an almost zero percent chance that either of those detonators were going to blow up the other ship alone - Joker would have made sure they blew up both ships as a final message to Gotham that killing and dying is all the same. The prisoner who threw away the detonator was the only person in this prisoner's dilemma that understood the joke that Joker was trying to tell. a punchline is always a bit of a surprise...that's what makes it funny. The only right move was not to play the game. And even after both boats managed to make the right play, Joker was still going to blow them up. Because he's a lunatic and trusting him was never an option.
