I tried getting into this game immediately after playing and loving Thief 2 but the mechanics felt off, it's not really a 1:1 skill transfer between those games.

Well yeah, it _is_ a completely different engine. Takes a bit of getting used to, especially with the ledges and occasionally awkward targeting. _Like trying to pick up singular gold coins from a table with other items and drawers... Just GRAAAHLGDOÖ5URFÄERHF!!!_ 😆

For me it was the other way around, because I started with TDM. The lightning is really bad compared to TDM and it sucks because lightning is a big part of the gameplay mechanics. And Jumping feels so floaty.
