HUGE SPOILER WARNING] We do know who Willam Minerva is but Willam was not his real name and was actually James Ratri. he was human but he died because the Ratri clan decided to work with the demons and killed him. Later on Norman decides to be a fake Willam Minerva But I haven’t read the older chapters in over a year so I may be wrong Edit: sorry for bad typing I’m quite tired

Well, even though the last episode wasn't scripted in this video, at least we know the bunker was (kind off) a trap, as the human hunters seemed to be aware of the secret exits. Which is, to say the least, rather interesting. Or the Farm became aware of the bunker after Minerva's dissapearance (highly doubt it) or it was made by the Farm and designed to ease the capture of the children, even with camera surveillance and the "secret" exits.

The amount of fucked up bullshit storytelling they have to do now just to make any sense of what has transpired in the anime has absolutely thrown this show out of the window. The first season was a masterpiece but cutting out vital worldbuilding parts out of the story just to shoehorn in a secondary plot that really shouldn't exist makes the show as a whole become much less interesting. The whole reason we all feared for the lives of the kids was because its either escape or die. The 2nd season (of the anime) turns this same theme into a plot hole heavy discombobulation of what the show is supposed to be about. Its obvious now that the writer rushed his manga storyline so he could then rush an anime only storyline in an attempt to focus on other stories besides the promised neverland. He didn't know what to do when the anime gained popularity. But instead of potentially starting from scratch or fixing up/adding details to make the series better he opted to finish it as fast as possible. This show seriously had the potential to be classified as one of the greats but now its just a shallow and hollow version of what it could've been.

thats kinda wrong , krone did not wanna give the pen at first but when she realised she was gonna die she gave it to the kids hoping for their escape and ending this world, william menerva also is probably not evil since when they reached bo6 32 it was a nice shelter BUT they were attacked which leads me to a theory, yes, william minerva has contact with demons, but they are probably allys trying to help kids but one of the demons betrayed him.

I hope the anime clarifies that, because it seems like the farm vaguely knew of the bunker (there seem to be multiple too??) but it didn't seem to be a trap from the start, it felt more like they just vaguely searched for them and then found them. Though I feel like it being a trap and the children just bucking out of there would have been infinitely better than what ep4 actually was haha.

Before anything else, I'd like to say that William Minerva isn't necessarily confirmed to be alive because of the phone call. They can't respond, and even point out that it's a recorded call. Now, from this point forward, I will be spoiling the manga, so if you intend to read that or in case the anime by some chance explains it, be warned. Not only is William Minerva possibly dead, but actually IS dead. That's part of why the books are so outdated. That's not to say that either theory is completely invalid, or even really too far off base. It's really interesting to see this point of view. Minerva DID work from the inside, but also was working against the demons. He had enough power to get the books in without raising too much suspicion. As for the Morse code, the lines simply looked like they were broken from the stamps not being pressed hard enough, and not even Emma, Ray, or Norman noticed anything at first. It was Phil, who might just be smarter than any of the other three. He is already almost as smart as the others at only a third of their age. As for the pen, Krone found the pen a long time ago, but couldn't escape herself due to the tracker placed in her heart. She never gave up hope though, and once she knew she was going to die, she wanted the children to do what she couldn't, and escape. Anyway, once again I really loved this theory, and it actually pointed out a fair amount of issues that I think we're just lazier writing on Shirai's part.

[Manga spoiler] William Minerva is James Ratri, the 35th head of the ratri family that controls grace field farms along with the demon royalty. He is the one who put the books there because while he was the gatekeeper he felt guild and disgusted by the way the demons would eat innocent children and he wrote those to give them a chance without being noticed. He was betrayed by Peter Ratri, the current head of the house at the time with emma, ray, and Norman which was order his death and ended up dying before could meet the kids who escaped. [Edit] He is indeed human, he is not a demon as confirmed in the manga as well

okay so I realised that it’s kinda wrong- SPOILER~ FOR EP6 S2 S2 ep6 - Norman is reunited with Emma and ray many people will know this- BUTT Norman wants to kill all the demons because of how he was tested on and he was separated from his best friends. the only thing that made me think is that he recognised mijika from Emma’s description, this gives me the theory that he tested on sonju and mijika but it didn’t go the way he planned and that’s why he recognised her. Unless, she was one of the bad guys ? Also when they meet Norman he’s changed and he isn’t the same as he used to be he doesn’t really smile and he’s hiding some thing from them. Anyone who watched s1 remembers that Norman says to ray “ I like her “ about Emma but I feel these feelings have depended down and been buried by trauma and revenge, so he wants to stay with his friends but I feel he wants power.
