I am a 5 life path and this all resonates so much with me! I’ve hidden myself, shrunk myself and tried to fit in, I have spent years traveling to move just enough that I could feel alive to come back to my ‘’normal” daily life and I have blown up a lot of things when I felt there was no better way. Currently I am building my true hearts desire for the world and myself; which feels amazing and yet still I have those shadow moments show up. As a life path number 5 and needing to be free, finding that a lot of settings and systems have strict rules that don't allow for growth and change, My Shadow aspects have been me not expressing my truths and me not wanting to out myself because I know I'll get in trouble for breaking the rules. As a result I keep my thoughts to myself as a shadow side, as a result I don't share my truths as a shadow side, as a result I'm afraid of being punished for breaking rules. This leads to lack of authenticity in the settings I am in because I refuse to be chained down. What I learned as I got older and worked through my shadow side was, if I follow the rules first and earn the trust and hearts of those around me so they can understand my ways and why I'm doing things, then I can truly make the institutional changes that will help to liberate the world and create more peace on earth.

wow you , surprising have given deep insight and pause for re INVENTION, yes! I've been accused of Drama karma, however, I feel more a victim of being in the way , of other peoples violence and deception always the easy target. My lesson slowly learnt, was not the creation of drama , but not realising that i was habituated to this cycle of not deserving any better. I felt that I was not wanted and, in my people- pleaser ways I became a magnet for taking blame... locked into a cycle of continuous poverty and not having a home, I was knocked about. ( for e.g. thrown on the street , with no place to go) it takes a lot of undoing , and real intention setting to choose peace and mundanity= over, as you so rightly say, poorly disguised, sabotaged EXCITEMENT , in a chaos cycle and to carefully and with consideration choose people who are safe ( that takes time to know ) Thank you , thank you ! Now I know that the double edged sword of ADVENTURE /excitement and will wield it with care..

I'm a 5 life path number. It's interesting looking at my life over the past thirty years, since graduating from high school. During my twenties, I embraced and lived the highest ideals of a 5 life path number. Once I completed Peace Corps service right before I turned thirty, I've been living the dark side of a 5 life path. Now that I'm middle-aged and divorced, I'm trying to reinvent myself and create an exciting new stage in life that captures some of the braveness and boldness of my twenties and yet infuses more mature insights into healthier living. The biggest obstacle has been the past year with COVID-19 restrictions and now being able to emerge again and move forward. Any insights you can provide, Nat would be greatly appreciated. @natsnumbers I have a LP 5. I've experienced many of these shadow sides in my many years of life, it's truly difficult when trying to achieve change in positive ways & die what feels like a 1000 times. I've been adventurous, a risk taker, wild & what felt like a wild mustang. I homeschooled my son, that went tremendously well. Yes, I taught my children Far differently than in traditional teachings. I tried to homeschool my daughter, she's a LP 5 also & she had her own ideas & I gave her freedom to choose as I had desired. We are opposite however. I am 23/5, my daughter 32/5. I've found throughout my life that I have to have balance in order to create the healing modalities, concoctions, teas, salves, grids, etc to achieve the changes I want to see in my life on a personal level & in the world. My daughter on the has to create through her art & through her parenting in order to achieve balance. I've become rather isolated, focused on my internal thoughts & feelings about what's going on in the world & trying to balance that somehow so that I can create changes in what is coming next. Everything is changing so very rapidly, in some ways chaotically, right now a restoration in some balance is what I need personally to even being trying to change & create what I want to see. My only issue Is I feel that I’m a stay at home mom, my kids are homeschooled and it is not feasible for me to work out of the home and I don’t know how to honour these aspects in my situation.
