What an excellent tale of our future from so long ago! I kept waiting for some huge rug pull, as I’d forgotten that it was a narration to another younger officer. Definitely a wonderful story, and special praise goes out to the author Sewell Peaslee Wright, for this enjoyable story. I knew I recognized this... they were talking about the menors or whatever and then the narrator mentioned the carnivorous trees!!! And I realized I heard a narration about that particular planet earlier :D I recognized Kincaid as well!!! I had no idea it was part of a series when I listened to the one about the carnivorous trees. I'm gonna listen to the ghost world next :)
