I honestly was wondering why does it seem like Victoria has nothing going on, but now it makes sense, she was blackballed.
@the_sam_strong
@the_sam_strong Жыл бұрын
She actually has quite a lot going on she stars in many indie and Netflix movies and releases independent songs now and then too lately. She wasn't really blackballed, not by Schneider at least since she continues to follow him, respond to his comments and even praises him sometimes on social medias. If she was really blackballed it was by Scooter Braun, Ariana's producer since initially he was producing Victoria's first single too which was Gold. Victoria wasn't agree to release that song as her debut single because she didn't like the song much and hadn't even write it herself but she was forced by Scooter to do so. The song was kind of a flop so Victoria decided to become an independent artist to have full control on her songs and that's when Scooter probably had her blackballed.

@@the_sam_strong majority of her work is indie or her series got cancelled. For a main star of a popular sitcom she should be further along and picking up great work like her costars who weren’t even in every single episode like she was. Blackballed doesn’t mean you don’t get work but you’re excluded from big gigs or Hollywood productions. Hence why she’s probably indie now and not even signed to a label. It's absolutely depressing how such a big part of my childhood was built on an Empire of sexual abuse, solicitation and exploitation. Be it the fact that Drake & Josh had such a big fallout after their show, Zoey 101 being an absolute nightmare for the cast, Janette McCurdy being mentally ruined by iCarly and Sam& Cat and now this whole thing with Victoria being blackballed and the cast being effectively drugged up despite not being of legal drinking age at the time. Dan Schneider built the ultimate time of happiness for us as children just for the curtains to fall, the Façade to crumble and the dark truth being revealed to us as adults, realizing that our entertainment was built on the the backs of suffering and depression. Disgusting. F**k you for being such an amazing part of my childhood Dan.

@Not-Ken-Molestina Ariana Grande is a victim too. You should stand behind anyone who shares their experience and listen to them, that doesn't mean that you can demand victims tell their story. Victims don't owe anyone anything. I'm grateful that so many people are coming forward and sharing such personal stories to bring these problems to light but I certainly don't fault Arianna for not wanting to be involved in this big public movement at this time. She likely has trauma from the inappropriate treatment, we can't demand people lay their trauma out on the table just because other victims are.

I get so mad online when people (most Ariana stans) attack Victoria Justice. Like, the character of TORI is annoying and selfish. Not VICTORIA. Leave her alone. And yes she did have the weakest voice in the cast but it’s not her fault she was the main character and given songs not fit for her vocal range. She was in the movie “Spectacular” where she also sings and honestly she was fine there singing wise. It’s just a shame she’s gotten so much hate for zero reason.

Hearing how Liz talks about her relationship in interviews feels like I'm watching a teenager doing their hardest to prove they are an adult ...and using their love life as the topic to prove that. It's so interesting as she says things like 'I don't talk about our relationship,' but in the same interview needs to tell us the story of how they met in a 'romantic' way, and in another interview needing to tell the story about her family meeting him for the first time. She has to talk about her relationship, because it is what makes her not feel like a 'nickelodeon' kid. She has no other concept of adulthood outside of drugs, and being groomed. When you watch interviews with Hillary Duff talking about Joel Madden, it's the same thing.

This video is so triggering to me today. Everyone knew about Dan for years. It really should be no surprise the Victorious set was a breeding ground for sex and drugs. It was like they were hiding it in plain sight. It just blows my mind how we all let this slide as a community of humans. How are we not asking more questions about where were the parents when these kids were on set? Were parents not allowed, or were these kids abandoned? The stuff in Victorious on re-watch seems so obvious now, but I didn't see it at the time. It's so...heartbreaking how exploited they were.

Dan was on the prowl for children. This happened to me, and I never shared it with anyone cause no one would have believed me at the time, and I'm sure people will still doubt me today. Back in the 90s, my mom brother and I got tickets for a live recording of All That when it was at its prime. It was a Lori Beth day... she was hilarious as the shouting librarian. There were also other skits and they recorded a concert. Anyway, after the recording was over, my mom managed to get us a quick tour of the backstage area after recording. I was 8 or 9 years old at the time and I was a shy, socially awkward girl who never got noticed by anyone. I will never forget the stare I received from this fat man all the way across the bleachers. It was like his eyes were targeting me when there were hundreds of children running around the bleachers, and he must have been 150-200 feet away! After a milisecond of his stare I looked away. It still felt like I was being watched so I glanced back and he was still looking at me. I remember turning away, and we left the studio.

It's infuriating how Victoria faced severe public bullying for not meeting their standards of being "star enough." Considering the alternative would've been her getting 🍇-ed. She was unfairly targeted for the character Tori's actions on the show. The mob mentality and its impact on her is utterly revolting.

I got the vibe that Victoria was thinking about how an audience could interpret the repetition of "shes always singing" as a way of saying "shes always showing off". So she chimed in "we all sing" to make sure the audience knows that it's not like that. To be clear, I don't think Victoria viewed it as a dig from Liz. But that she was fully aware of how people could misinterpret the situation.

So if Liz is such a talented actress.. who thinks that she always tells the truth in her interviews? To me it all seems like a set up personality, this bubbly, funny, lightweight character. Rumors had it jamie lynn first kid was Dan...the whole foot thing is disturbing but allowing kids to do and on tv.. 🤢 so i wouldnt doubt he slept with ariana. I couldn’t agree more with you! My daughter is now 21 years old, so I watched many, many episodes of Nickelodeon and Disney with her as she was growing up. I remember her telling me that some of the characters were so rude and nasty to each other and adults on the shows…and it made her uncomfortable at times. (My girl has always been an old soul!). She would say that younger kids watching would think it is okay to emulate the behavior because it was fun being so “sassy” like the kid actors on the shows. We would talk all the time about the episode we had just watched and how the dialogue was so unrealistic and she could tell an “adult wrote the dialogue pretending to be a tween or young teenager”. (My daughter is now a senior in college and is student-teaching in a middle school. Her goal is to continue teaching middle school upon graduating in the spring and starting a theater program for the underserved students she teaches! I’ll recommend that she watch this Deep Dive when she has a spare minute during her winter break! I know she will be horrified by the way those grown men treated those young female (and male) actors. 😢

Dan used to post behind the scenes little factoids on Twitter after new episodes of icarly and victorious episodes premiered. One of them was that he prefers to have "his girls" to have their hair down- there was one scene of Victoria and she had her hair up in a ponytail (which is why this was mentioned in the factoids), and it's just about the only time you see a girls hair up in his TV shows. I was watching a newer episode of icarly reboot and Miranda had her hair up in a messy bun and she looked SO beautiful! It's so weird just how much say Dan had over so many tiny little aspects, down to having their hair styled to fit his personal preferences.

The fall of Victoria Justice was weird and quick, the amount of hate that came out of sudden towards her was just astonishing! Scooter Braun, the manager of Ariana was the person behind the drama. He saw that two girls from the same show can't be both stars, so he forcefully tried to shut Victoria from the media and have killed her career before it starts. Ariana herself went silent for years without supporting Victoria even with a word to clear out the misunderstanding.
