I've been with my Capricorn male for a while and I do find him to be sometime fake, fickle, and cold. Also I've complained about him not getting over his past love. Caps are misunderstood. If you meet a "selfish" Cap it's not your basic selfishness. It's because we want security. And we might be selfish with our money or what we have because we know we can't depend on other people if we do need help. Capricorns opposite sign, Cancer, craves security too. But they're more likely to seek a partner to give them that security, while Capricorn will want to do it on their own. The only reason Caps might seem selfish with money is because in this day and age money equals security. And as far as being cheap, that's a test. We wanna know if you're genuinely into us or just trying to get something out of a situation. Because we want quality over quantity. In my experiences with Capricorns whether it was (family,friends, or lovers) I've noticed some similarities with all. A LOT of what you've mentioned here I have seen with them. I had to laugh when you talked about the "Phony" part. Because I just experienced that with a Cap. Usually my ex is all pessimistic and can't find anything nice to say about people or situations. This was one of the things I didn't like. How he would judge and put people down so much. He can definitely put a damper on thing if you don't stop him. We were hanging out one day and he met my brother for the 1st time. He had the nerve to have his shoes off and feet up on my ottoman when my bro walked in. Said hello with a "fake smile" all while his feet where still up like he paid bills in the place. Who acts like that when you 1st meet someone's family? He was just talking shit just a few seconds ago. ha Smh Then he tried to engage me with small talk like we got along so well. I even ignored him because I knew what he was doing. *Note:* Usually this would piss him off! But he held his composure to look good. He still kept talking (with no responses, ha) to make it seem like we were BFF'S! This is the kicker though. Caps know how to draw you in with their "Representative". Then it's astonishing when you start to see the real them. I dated this one for 8 long years of up's and downs. Broke up for 7 and he came back once again looking for me. And it was like meeting an entirely new person. It was so weird to see. Some things I like but those (negative things) the way he's insensitive at times and mean. No can do! Just too much for my sensitive ass! ha With that said, I've seen worst behaviors with other signs. However, if your NOT careful a Cap can take you on that depressive ride with them. And they do work on your self esteem if it's not strong and healthy. It took quite some time to shake off what that Cap put on me. Scorpio Sun signing off...
