Solomon's story is a mirror for anyone blessed with gifts, success, or influence. It reminds us that our relationship with God must remain the foundation of our lives. The dark sin of Solomon warns us to avoid complacency and compromise, to serve God wholeheartedly, and to walk humbly in obedience.

You see, to follow the Lord, we must remain humble because we do not know where He is taking us, therefore, we must continuously be able to hear Him so that we are able to submit and follow. Failure to remain meek and humble will lead you to follow your own path that is blind, seeing that none of us has ever been where God is taking us.

There is even something very wrong with Solomon building a house fir the Lord, and then building himself, a palace, and another for his wife, the daughter of the Pharaoh of Egypt! It is as if,he brings down God to the level of people - himself and then his wife! If i built that grand Temple for God , i would build the simplest house for myself and my wife. There has to be a difference? God has to be hallowed! I cannot then proceed to build myself a grand and impressive palace also!!! Every time i read those things i feel like there is something wrong there.

SOLOMONS LIFE REMINDS ME OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN AMERICA. HIS LIFE REMINDS ME OF AMERICA. WE WERE A CHRISTIAN NATION. BUT THE PEOPLE THEY LET IN HERE BROUGHT THEIR GODS AND TEMPLES HERE. STATUE OF LIBERTY IS AN IDOL.
