@@alvinford6522 The Torah is first, and thats the Old Testament, but there is more of GODS GLORY written down. Then the son of GOD came down and the leaders rejected him. No one has EVER done the miracles like JESUS CHRIST except YAHWEH SABAOTH GOD OF HOST himself through prophets. JESUS is the son of YAHWEH. The Israelites kept worshipping Idols of pagans until YAHWEH steps in with closing heaven or pestilences. And it took years for the prophet Jeremiah to warn the Israelites, did they listen NO! I grew up in Anglican church and then got involved with groups that taught Jesus is pagan because of Christmas idolatry and easter of the Church and that we had the new found gospel of Yeshua and not the idol Jesus. After years of being on that path, I removed myself from all religion. I am trying to recover my faith and gift for the bible and would appreciate your ministries help

I had to laugh when Shawn said, "If they took the trouble to make a documentary about it, then there must be SOME truth to it." I can tell you from personal experience that documentary producers and directors care little about truth. They care only about the financial success and awards they can gain. In other words, the more drama they can achieve in the telling, the happier the campers are. You see, for over 20 years, I have been a world-renowned Titanic historian. My colleagues and I have been asked by numerous "educational channels" such as National Geographic, A&E, History Channel, et al, to appear in their documentaries and discuss the history of the Titanic. They also interviewed many of the surviving Survivors. The final product is a twisted version of the truth. Audio manipulation was used to make it appear that something was said that actually had not been said, and was completely untrue. In fact, National Geographic used my image without my knowledge or consent, and I had no idea I was in the documentary until I saw it on television!

For me it is the Added rituals added to the Christmas Dec date. The one for me is the Tree...and reading in Jeremiah 10: 1-5 . I agree that following Scriptures Today being able to listen to all the voices from this way and that can deceive and with today's added so called easy information from any part of the world at our finger tips one needs to be in Prayer at all times, which is the best idea to be in at all times. If the ancient stories are true how can the bible not be? It was normal to pass down myths and stories from the past adding new characters around the inherent truth of the text so I would say the exclusivity of it isn't true, but the stories are as true as the ones they are taken from .

What?????? Do you mean the ten commandments? If that is what you meant then that is a good question. But that is because they don't know nor understand what the bible teaches and they don't know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Most of them have been deceived into believing the lies of Old Satan by the sun day preachers. Sun day preachers are a bunch of Hippocrates. They say that the ten commandments were done away with at the cross but what they are really saying is they don't want to keep the fourth commandment which is the seventh day sabbath the only commandment that God said to remember, but they do believe in keeping the other nine commandments, if you don't believe that then ask them is it ok to kill and steal and committee adulatory or use the Lord's name in vain and they will tell you of course it is not OK, Hippocrates.

Where does the bible say the earth is flat? Some Native Americans believe the flat earth is carried around on the back of a turtle..... Do you believe this too? Christopher Columbus' crew believed they were going to sail off the ends of the earth. Of course this did not happen. Even seen a LUNAR eclipse? Round huh? Even been to the beach? The bible plainly tells us that we will go down to the grave where we will remain until Jesus comes the second time to take His children, the righteous, home but the wicked will not be resurrected until after the 1000 years reign with Jesus in heaven, then Jesus will come down from heaven with all of the righteous and the New Jerusalem and Resurrect the sinners and cast the wicked into the Lake of Fire where they will be completely destroyed both body and soul. Mal 4:3-And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of host. And they shall never be again thus eradicating the whole universe of sin. But the Lake of Fire is not a place called hell where God will torment the sinners thru all of eternity, because the fire will go out when all of the wicked are completed consumed by the fire leaving then neither branch nor root, just like Sodom and Gomorrah which the fire is not still burning today, it went out when there was no more fuel to feed the flames.

I would like to add to this discussion. On the one side we have liberals who have beliefs that many of us find offensive. On the other side are conservatives that many of us grew up with and feel like family. But now a huge chunk of this family have adopted horrible ideas and a terrible ungodly hero. (Yes, I live in the US and I am talking about Donald Trump.) We human beings like to take sides and, when we are left without any group to belong to, it can be very frustrating, especially when it seems like your leaders (I’m not particularly talking about you) are just whistling old songs while your country is being torn apart. Here is how it ties into what you are saying. To me, this identification of Trumpism and Christianity makes Christianity seem unpalatable and makes many of us wish our leaders acknowledge that we are in the midst of a crisis .

When people say that Jesus is pagan they arnt wrong, in the eyes of the God of the Bible who says he's not a man. Believing a man is the divine son or incarnation of God is idolatry. Hence why jews believe Christians will be beheaded when there is a new sanhedrin. Also as you also agree, many pagan ideas were adopted including the cross wich wasn't added until around 430 ad and was originally used by various pagan cultures. It is pagan to entice gentiles, that is the whole purpose of Christianity. Paul literally calls him the stumbling block of the pagan world. For a messiah(teacher) to bring the god of israel to the nations(gentiles) and to have every nation bow and profess he is the one true God. He was meant to break the yoke of the nations and rule over them with his rod, shattering the nations like pottery. You either do that by force or by using their symbolism and subverting it. Both were done to spread Christianity. "Europe was mostly Christian" that's why they built churches on pagan sites, burned sacred trees in attempts to defile their gods and went to war with our own people over a foreign God. apologists make it sound like we just accepted this new belief when it was largely forced and pagan practices or heretical ideas were punished for centuries. Again it's pagan because it was a sect of judaism meant to gain favor among pagan cultures thus it has to appeal to pagans. Saying jesus was a viking is no less a cope than saying he was anything but jewish, it also shows that people are extremely naive to messianic concepts or how prevalent they are in abrahamic theology. Before you can understand anything that a gospel written 55-100 plus years after crucifixion says, you have to first understand where they got knowledge from. If you don't know what mishradic or pesher interpretation is you cannot understand how paul and the writers who came after, came to their conclusions. For those unfamiliar with those terms, in short, it means mysticism. As in they saw him in visions and in scripture via mystical interpretation.

God also says he is not nor ever will be a man way before that so it contradicts what is written later. Everything from Paul and after is hearsay or based on older scripture. They pieced together various prophesies to create the celestial Jesus figure that would replace Yom Kippurs rituals after the second temple fell. They didn't just reject this idea because they hated God, it was because they either knew that would entice gentiles to adopt it or they didn't believe the Jesus story because it contradicts the foundation of the Torah aka God Even in the old testament God only appears as a vision. It is through mystical interpretation or midrash that these ideas were found, and later grew I to movements we know today like the holy roman church, the zohar, the kabbalah, zionism, freemasonry ect even demonology came way after in the 1600s

@ebbygshreve9577 I agree with that, Paul and the other gospel authors used misrash to see Jesus in old testament scriptures. That's why you can find almost identical prophetic scriptures in the NT. They either outright borrowed them or altered the verse to fit the Jesus narrative

@ebbygshreve9577 there is no actual documenting done during the time of Jesus. Even the account of the Roman trial is flawed and inaccurate, not by my view but biblical scholars and independent peer reviews. Paul made him up, there was likely no real Jesus figure. There at best may have been a rabbi he was based on, as messiah was commonly known to be a teacher not a divine savior. But even that is a 1 in 12,000 chance. So yes only the Old testament existed, until 55 ad when Paul had his revelation and began writing his letters. There has always been offchutes that veer away from traditional interpretation. Many came before Jesus, but none of them stuck, and arguably if Constantine hadn't adopted Christianity officially it too would have faded into obscurity. People haven't always had the freedom to think or have as much access to information as we do today. That is another reason it lasted.
