The black dragon weapons are super strong despite no scaling but with one being locked behind dragon covenant and the others being rare dragon shrine drops, you’d probably have to spawn them in for a video. It’d still be cool to see them at some point

Ds2 is usually good about everything being accessible but unfortunately the black dragon weapons are such a chore to get, I remember farming all the dragon scales and I farmed the entire area for 6 hours maybe and only got a few of the weapons

Technically no Black Dragon weapons are locked behind the covenant, being the greatsword IIRC, it’s an incredibly rare drop from the Black Dragon NPC at the top of the stairs in the Dragon Shrine, where you need an ascetic to respawn him.

I guess if you backed up your save you could farm it but you still have to get to the shrine to begin with which without butterfly skips is very late game on a new play through. Can’t believe I’m still learning new things about this game

Fun thing I noticed when I first played Demon's souls, there's an NPC named Executioner Miralda In DS1 there's Maneater Mildred In DS2 Melinda The Butcher DS3 Wiki says their NPC is named just a Madwoman, although I could've swore you can find her name somewhere and it breaks the tradition of crazy women with axes in rags with a name starting with "M"

There is Dark Souls II scrambler that can change enemies, items and also parameters. There is also door randomizer which is very much fun (SotFS ran-door-mizer)

Almost wondering if the speed mods you are using messes with damage values. My damage numbers are nowhere near yours even with the brightbug. Example is the powerstanced curved swords you get from flexile. That spin to win did trash damage. I was so excited too

Here's a challenge ideea : Each time you kill a boss the game speeds up. Or Just play the game on 2x speed, but i think this one will be more boring since you will get used to the speed faster than if it kept increasing by a % amount.

I've been hit by a terrible realization. What if an important item turns out to be a ring you can only get by killing a boss in NG+? You'd have to go with trial and error with ascetics for a while

that's a different one, which is the red orb that attracts them to you. This one is hella rare and just heals you. it can spawn from any trap chance but I've only seen it twice in my 1900 hours of playing

i use DS2 META for the item randomizer ( starting class AND the estus are randomizer too, that's the real challenge, u can find the estus after fume knight just to saym and also the items from vendors r randomizer, so u can't buy unlimited lifegems ) , is a cool exe, it also has some cheat options like CE.
