4:11 The Painting Guardians are not in the game. However there is a hostile NPC that wears their clothes and uses their weapon. She is behind a painting in Aldia's Keep if the area is in NG+ or higher.

It's the only NPC in the game from which the player can farm the Painting Guardian set & weapon. Also, it does NOT respawn, existing only once per game cycle, meaning that if you want to farm and have bad luck you'll need A LOT of bonefire ascetics and the area level will reach difficulty cap pretty darn fast compared to the rest of the game. Which, in my personal opinion, was a terrible dick move from the developers as the set itself is both top fashon and a massive trigger for my collector tendencies.

I accidentally walked into the cheat room on my playthrough as well. Love this mod. A lot of mods like ds3/er convergence sort of go overboard, but this one still feels like ds2. Love how you have to explore parts of the level you normally would ignore, like finding the key to the cardinal tower bonfire.

1:03:00 - this big boar is actually in base DS2-Sotfs! I found him myself without a guide, by clearing out the tiny Majula pigs, sitting at the bonfire, and repeat. Eventually 2 medium-size ones show up, and then after those ones are all gone, this big guy shows up! Bonfire Acetics do not bring him back, either. It's really not worth it, since all 3 types of pig, in Majula, only drop Red Eye Orbs. But seeing the big guy the first time was SUCH a rush, man

the weird alive tree dudes from the sunken crown dlc repair your gear when you whip them usually, not sure about in this mod though. also i think the giant bug you killed passively cures poison when you stand near it.

There is a singular npc that wears the painting guardian set in aldi's jeep behind a painting after ng, doesnt respawn and has asscheek drop chances, that npc is the sole reason I went hammer mode on my fire resist getting it to 1k which is complete immunity just so I could walk into the boss fight and face tank everything just to make it go quicker. I got the chest and legs before giving the fuck up after like 35 attempts. Then I went on and farmed the mad warrior in belfry sol for 8 hours straight because I guess I just didnt neet my self hate quota for the day or something.

Nice, was hoping to see this eventually. Sadly this is the only really big mod for DS2, but if you want to try some mods for the other SoulsBorne games here's my recommendations if you want an experience similar to Seeker of Fire 2.0; For DS1, that's "Daughters of Ash". The biggest mod for DS1, and for a while the biggest mod for any of the games. Re-Works exploration, bosses, and even the story pretty heavily. Adds a lot of new quests and content. Has 2 of the coolest fights in the series including the actual official games accessed via the alternate DLC route. For DS3, that's "The Convergence Mod". While DS3 has quite a few really big mods like Cinders and Champion's Ashes, Convergence is the one that best balances Polish with New Content. Tons of new Spells, but plenty of new Weapons, new Bosses, Re-Worked Bosses, different World Progression. Definitely worth a playthrough.

The Big Pig is in DS2 NG+ jajaja Yaz! What a great and curious mod! I really enjoy it... Katanas are broken with electric infusion (200 points of damages??? Jajajaaj) Really love your playtrought!! Edit: yes, you can go to Alsanna upstairs, but you have to farm 50 Loyce Knight's souls. For each 10 souls, she gives Leum Loyce Armor' Pieces... Edit 2: In DS SOFTS, Ornifex Trade its for Eleum Loyce, a sword that you can heal allies with it. Is in the base game.. And all those weapons are in the base game (For real, I have a run with almost every item of the game with 200+ hours playing).

Sup Yaz, you are my can youtuber ;D Í got a mod named "Ascension Mod" it makes the game EXTREMELY hard (The first enemy is the pursuer) like this mod it changes ALL the clases and something cool is that every weapon haves a hability like Drangleic Sword when you attack it spawn a fog (The bosses have around 500k healt or more) thats why all weapons can do 1k dmg mininum.
