I've seen videos of artillery rounds getting thrown off course by fruit. Pretty sure telekinetically thrown glass shards could at least alter a trajectory if they were thrown at the bullet. Also, he's throwing glass with his mind, there's a lot of leeway that sentence alone gives in the laws of physics.

Yes, because everyday logic applies for a black with magical powers like the man in black
@juicebox74173 жыл бұрын
All the people complaining about the bullet logic and physics seem to have forgotten that his guns are made from the melted down sword Excalibur and are literally magic by consequence. The reason the guns are so powerful and break the laws of physics is a heavy mixture of incredible skill and magic. Roland being a descendant of Eld with a high skill level helps with being able to properly wield the weapons to their fullest potential. Anyone who pretends otherwise forgets that despite being chambered in a .45 caliber equivalent, when someone other than Roland tried to fire it it nearly broke his arm. Magic guns that enchant magic bullets are shot at the magic man. Get physics out of the equation guys

ayo i got a question while watching this film. Roland said there are other worlds besides theirs. No one knows how many. My question is, are the gunslingers the only protectors of the tower? No no no no no. The guns are special, but not magic. Roland is one of, if not the most skilled gunslinger ever. He never, ever did any physics defying trick shots. No. Just no.
@juicebox74172 жыл бұрын
@@chriss2122 "The guns in a fantasy epic about a magic tower that holds the universe together protected by 12 magic animals that are created from the great old ones is completely 100% accurate to physics and science" I hope you know how ridiculous that sounds, and you clearly took the series too seriously. A good 70%ish of the plot is powered by magic and mysticism. Yes he is a great shot, probably one of if not the greatest to ever live in any realm, he was insanely good even after getting messed up and becoming a low-key cripple. But it still doesn't change the fact the the guns still have magic infused in them. The Sword of Eld known as Excalibur is said to be a magic, at the very least mythical, sword gifted unto Arthur just like in real world legend. The sword was melted down into the guns. Ipso facto, the guns by consequence are magic as well if taken literally, which in this universe there is no reason not to. It's literally the whole reason they're special. Taking into account as well that it is indirectly implied the only reason Roland can properly wield them is being an Eld, you can safely assume there is some kind of magic at play. This is all also without taking into account that the physics of things from one realm don't necessarily follow the same rules of keystone earth just because they happen to be on keystone earth. Inference being that the guns and shots look physics breaking here, but are completely normal on midworld. To say there's absolutely no magic involved in the guns made out of a literal magic sword given to Arthur to protect and rule all the realms of reality is hilarious and kind of ignorant imo. Think what you want man, but you sound like you're taking a high fantasy series far too literal.

Well this movie is the sequel and the next cycle of the books, in which Roland and Walter pretty much did everything the same through every cycle. For any one those still confused...the first shot was aimed at the pillar, it looks like he shot directly at the villain due to the angle of the camera, then he fired the second bullet straight at the villain, then the scene shows the first bullet ricochets from the pillar and finally deflecting the straight bullet. As to why he would raise his hand to catch the bullet , that's because if he fired both shots exclusively of each other, both bullets will reach the villain, the villain however as I noticed has excellent focus on anything in front of him but fails to see anything besides him(as evidently when Roland shot the steel beam beside which fell down and smacked the villain on his side. So the villain knows the bullets will hit him but that's superficial, the true intentions of both bullets was to deflect off each other at the very final moment before he catches it.

Now that I think about it it would have been even more badass if it had been the other way around Roland ricocheted the first bullet off the steel beam, then fired the second one straight at the Man in Black to be intercepted by the first one. That would also have solved the problem people have with the physics.

That movie is great as I can see those two battling each other. My favorite part is the young boy meets a Gunslinger to team up and stop The Man in Black from destroying the tower to open the gate of Hell. The kid has secretly discovered his psychic powers to remember the future in Mid World.

That is a single action civil war revolver yet he shoots it like a double action. Don't even get me started on the cartridge ammo flying in mid air lol

Fun fact about this scene: Death is only permanent on Keystone Earth, and Walter fell through the portal after getting shot. Ergo he's not actually dead.

@StellaStarfall3 жыл бұрын
Walter was using his hands to magically shield himself, but if he doesn’t know where the bullet’s going he can’t stop it. That’s why Roland had to ricochet it somewhere Walter wasn’t expecting.

Kyziae Kc ROBLOX you tubers The man in black killed Roland's father, killed Jake's mother, he also wants to destroy the dark tower( which if that happens, the universe or the multiverse would also destroyed as well), and to top it all off, he just love to f*ck up people's lives, just because he could. Now you tell me my friend, WHERE IN YOUR F*CKING RIGHT MIND DO YOU COME TO TERMS WITH THAT THE MAN IN BLACK IS A SAINT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Also, The Man In Black is wearing black clothing, I didn't say he was black.

Can someone explain to me how his revolvers work??? It’s a swing out cylinder that is modeled after an 1858 SA revolver... idk how that works
@micahbragg79934 жыл бұрын
It seems like there is an extra speed setting on his gun for the second bullet haha. Which definitely would lose energy after ricocheting anyway.

I think it was more Walter slowing the shots down to catch them.
