I think when Trevor says "Yes!" After Deb says Crap, he wasn't just excited to get her angry, he was excited she broke out of her fake shell and responded like a human. Same with the other times, he thinks everyone there is a fake plastic person with practiced personalities, so when they show a genuine human reaction, he revels in it. It's his twisted way of trying to help them act like actual people. But then he found out for certain Deb was cheating on Floyd, and that moment of elation turned to anger.

Trevor may be a psycho but he’s a psycho with Morals. He is full of trust and bonds. And when he bonds with someone he can’t bring himself to hurt them too much, like with Micheal, despite being utterly pissed at him he had multiple chances to kill him but kept him alive instead and got pissed when Franklin said he was gonna kill Micheal. My version of events: Debra grabs gun and shoots Floyd. She immediately panics as she realizes what she’s done. Trevor runs over to Floyd to make sure he’s okay kind of holding him. (hence all the blood on his clothing) Debra then tries to tell Trevor how she didn’t mean to but trevor just straight kills her. I think Trevor liked Floyd so I’m sure he would have that kind of reaction

Nah. the blood on his clothing is consistent with blunt or sharp force trauma. If there were any sort of interactive spatter, we'd see it. Things like handprints, or smear marks. If it were blood sustained from interacting with a dead or dying person, we'd see it on the clothes. Since its all directional splatter, that implies it couldn't have happened.

Interaction stains would be handprints, smears, defensive wounds, etc. We don't see this on Trevor. directional splatter is from injuries, or cast off respectively based on the weapon used. Since most of it seems to be about medium velocity splatter, we can imply Trevor was using some sort of weapon to attack Debra/Floyd Respectively. Regardless of what time Floyd died during the crime, There was no way Trevor would have stopped to inspect the corpse of Floyd. If he did, we'd see a more concentration of of blood on Trevor's clothes, specifically his hands, arms, or shirt. In short, he wouldn't. If he did, we'd see it. While he may have been partial to the violence, he didn't interact with a dead or dying corpse.

There’s a 4th scenario. Debra shot Floyd, he wasn’t killed straight away and he lunged at Debra and stabbed her multiple times, he then dies by the gun shot wound. But before he dies Trevor tries to help keep Floyd alive, hence why he’s covered in blood. Floyd ends up dying and Trevor leaves. Excellent work though Pro, keep it up.

After watching this video, this is my opinion. Floyd starts moving towards Debra, holding a knife in his hand. I do not believe he charged at her, he was talking and moving slowly but in a threatning way towards her. She is afraid of disorder, of not having control over things or people or her surroundings. She sees Floyd out of line for the first time, and that to her feels very threatening, perhaps even more threatning than Trevor, especially since she knows how bad she was towards him all this time. She is freaked out and shoots him accidentally, out of fear. She is in shock because she now realizes what she had done, and she remains frozen for a few seconds. Trevor seizes the moment, grabs the knife and proceeds to stab Debra multiple times. He does so in a manner so gruesome and violent because he is extremely enraged by her whole personality and what she represents. She manipulated and used Floyd, treated him like trash, kept him in line and afraid, while betraying him constantly, and evenutally, when he got a bit out of line, she killed him. This is the reason why he kills her in such a horrible way. I feel that at that moment, in Trevor's mind, she is the epitome of the culture that he despises, and constantly makes fun of (including when he enters their condo), she is a symbol of the absolute evil of this fake culture of these fake disgusting people ("You people are not very effing nice!"). This is why the murder is so violent, because in killing her, he is killing, symbolically, the whole culture and the whole system she represents.

Chances are Trevor didn't actually stab Debra. The neighbor heard strange sounds, this could mean he brutally rearranged her facial structure and tossed her around the kitchen. Stabbing is too easy a finisher for Trevor. He basically returned the pain she caused Floyd in physical form. I always think Rockstar placing Hang Ten before Bury the Hatchet is a brilliant decision as the emotional trauma he went through in this mission gives Trevor a perfect emotional motive in the next two missions, which speeds the game up towards its final missions without players feeling forced. One of Trevor's serious personal trauma is his mother left him. That is why he is always looking for a sense of family in life. He ended up with Michael and his band. I think one of the reasons he enjoys his life of crime is how he is able to form something like a family around himself. Then Michael not only left him but also took away the other member of the "family" - Brad. After that, Dave was sending him emails as the other member he lost that day and that drove he to move to LS and connect with the local underworld. He wants to do a jailbreak with his connections as he knows it is possible. After he sees Michael alive and raiding the IAA in daylight with him, he knows he can have the "family" back as he can do the jailbreak if Michael is in. That is why he planned the Merryweather Heist and involved Michael because it would break Michael's deal with Dave, making him fall into his old life again. Unfortunately, the heist didn't go through as Lester forced Trevor to return the loot after they took it. Then Trevor was trapped in Michael's situation and had to do many things he does not like. His patience is wearing thinner and thinner with the plot moves forward. At the point of this mission, Trevor just saw Michael is no longer who he was as he is so eager to make up with Mexicans with the loot of the heist and had to let go of Patricia Madrazo. He also had to put his life for the corrupt government element he hate so much again (Monkey Business). He is very pissed because of all three things said above and he wants to be healed. That is why he came to Floyd's house. He doubts Michael and Lester will be his "family" again and wants to make a new connection to heal himself. He has then been greeted by the situation that Floyd saying he is not his FAMILY out loud. He is shocked by this rejection. But since he knows Floyd is a pushover, he went inside Floyd's house so he can make a play to change his mind. He first insulted Debra because he knows Floyd's attitude problem is related to her. His goal is clearly to prove to Debra he is the dominant figure among the trio so he can force both of them to recognize him as a member of the family and maybe have a life of crime with him. He is so happy when Debra lost her cool and grows desperate because he assumes Debra will be conquered by his abuse quickly and fall under his control like Floyd. Then Debra revealed she is cheating and abandoned Floyd in front of Trevor, who just had to abandon his lover (so Michael could be a family man again, which is the opposite of what Trevor wants). Trevor finds out Floyd is abandoning him because of a woman who abandoned him long ago. Trevor wants to take advantage of the situation because getting kicked out together is another way to make Floyd realize him as a family again. Unfortunately, the situation was all messed up. Debra stood up to him and Floyd with a gun while Floyd tried to defend himself from BOTH of them. I guess the fact that even knowing Debra is cheating, Floyd is still seeing Trevor as a threat rather than a shoulder to cry on totally ruined Trevor's mood. No matter what happened next, the end of the line is that he ruined the life of two lawful citizens because his desire for having a "family" is not met by them. It is wise Rockstar just cut to black because saw how Trevor got the blood all over him (in the best case, he killed Debra in the first strike and brutalized her body; in the worse case, he brutalized Debra while she was breathing and finished her as mercy killing or she died of blood lost) will totally ruin people's empathy for Trevor. Anyway, this mission is a perfect emotional setup for Bury the Hatchet. Trevor has been abandoned once more by people he sees as a family at the time, he wants to be a member of a family so much, and he has no one close after that. He so wants Michael to go back to his old way because that would make him a member of the “family” again. He muscled Lester and Michael into Surveying the Score. The situation went as expected. The Big One they are about to pull will certainly move Michael out of Dave's protection. Trevor thinks he can convince Michael to do the jailbreak to get Brad out. Then he can have a family. Then three of them and Lester, with no other choices as they pissed off the fed once again, will live and die in a life of crime. With this happy thought, he went into Michael's house to talk about Brad with him. And .... Bury the Hatchet happened. *For those who read this wall of text to the end: Thank you! I am so sorry to post this, but I just can not help myself after seeing the video. I love GTA 5 and its story. This video just makes me want to say this about it. Kind of felt bad for Floyd. He had a “girlfriend” that probably just used him to watch over her condo while she lived her life and hooked up with higher ups. The 2nd possibility is probably the most likely to have happened. For the window to have bullet marks and blood in that exact area, it’s pretty obvious that Debra was killed in the exact spot she was in the cutscene by Trevor’s gunfire. Floyd tried rushing her, she killed him, and while that occurred Trevor moved towards where Floyd was originally standing and shot Debra. That would explain the crime scene, and the blood would probably have come from Trevor messing around with them after it was over. That would explain the non high logistic blood marks, and probably explain Trevor’s calm, exhausted manner of exiting the apartment, as he took some time to really digest what had happened.

28:30 I think it actually makes sense if you consider that Trevor sees a little bit of Floyd in himself, he just grew through similar struggles by steamrolling through them instead of letting others take the initiative. It's actually kind of deep. Trevor's into older women because of the messed up dynamic with his mom making him want validation from an older female figure more than anything. So when someone who's like a sweeter version of his mom shows up, it's like heavenly... Like that feeling when you thought you knew love until you find someone who raises the bar on what love can be. This also sums up why Trevor was kind of jealous of Franklin earlier in the story, seeing Michael as a mentor somewhat filling the role of a father figure to an adult. I think Floyd actually did talk to Trevor about details regarding Debra. I don't think that was posturing, we just didn't get to see it. People become sociopaths as a complex defense mechanism. That's the major difference between Floyd and Trevor, if it had to be narrowed down. Trevor being emotionally repressed is what creates outbursts, which includes "marry?" not just "attack." Floyd doesn't face the ugly so he never grew a backbone. T faced too much ugly and has too much backbone, whereas the lack of emotional nuance makes him ultimately a slave to his impulses, which is a pretty fascinating catch-22 regarding free will and determinism. I think during the kitchen scene when the screen went black there was additional dialog between the three. Debra probably ran her mouth so much degrading floyd none stop and talking about bob this and that..which triggers floyd to lunge at debra making her shoot him in the head which triggered trevor to go for debra for killing floyd which he brutally stabs her then shoots her. Knowing trevor he probably held floyd for a while before leaving that apartment could explain the blood all over him as well as the blood from the brutal killing of debra.

What I think happened is that Debra shot Floyd and then was surprised at herself for going through with it. Debra and Trevor both look on as Floyd dies in seconds. Trevor becomes enraged and bum rushes Debra, slamming and bashing her against the window, stunning and disarming her. But look at his relationship with Patricia Madroza (which I'm honestly surprised you didn't bring up) In his eyes, Martin likely cheats on his wife and because Trevor has this weird mother-son dynamic with her, he refuses to hurt or even verbally abuse her. This situation with Floyd and Debra kinda reminds me of my last relationship but theirs being 10x worse. Firstly I got nagged into moving in with with ex girlfriend but she wouldn't pay rent 50/50 like she promised, making excuses every months. I always got nagged into doing way too much when she offered very little in return. Maybe 6 months in, she started sleeping over other "guy friends" houses and I had enough. I moved out and not even a day later, she went to my work bragging about another guy and my coworkers told me immediately, despite the fact I already had suspicions. Something I think some might have missed, is between Debra and the gun. Why is there a gun in the condo? Sure Trevor may have left it in there, but Floyd and Trevor didn't react when she went for the drawer. Floyd may not have moved due to his self esteem, but he continued to get more aggressive after she pulled it out, rather that cower. A possibility is that Floyd had bought the gun. He is a more rural guy, guns wouldn't have been too unusual for him. The weird part is that he would need Debra's permission to keep it in the house. Most likely he told her about it, because of his low self esteem and through her knowing where it was. Why would Debra want a gun in the house? It could be for protection, but due to her low expectations of Floyd, I doubt that she would trust him to defend the house much less her. The more insidious theory would be she was planning to kill Floyd before Trevor arrived at the condo. When she pulls out the pistol, she says, "Bob taught me." This implies that she didn't know how to use it when they got it. When she blurts it out, it implies that she possibly told Bob about it and many other things and purposely kept this secret. It's unusual in her line of work to go to a gun range and I doubt she had any fear that Floyd would leverage his proficiency with of firearm against her. This could mean that Debra and or Bob were planning to kill Floyd before Trevor even arrived in Los Santos.

He would have certainly discovered the firearm at some point. It's also somewhat puzzling that Debra would buy a firearm she didn't know how to use as evidenced by her saying," Bob taught me." Sure, she would want to learn eventually, but she decided to keep her firearm training secret from Floyd. There is also the possibility that she brought the gun when she came back to the condo shortly before the confrontation and put the gun in the drawer. However, Debra hasn't been there for very long as evidenced by her still wearing her business clothing. Debra doesn't appear until Trevor returns to the condo meaning this gun most likely was in the condo before Trevor came to Los Santos.

I always thought that window stains are actually a head smash against it. Like, it has blood splattered in a round pattern, window broken but not shattered. That way you explain the lack of hand wounds on trevor (not actually stabbed Debborah a lot) but smashed her against the walls and window. Also explain the noises neighbor heard

Holy shit, the whole context of the Floyd and Debra lore is mind-blowing. Trevor might be a psycho with a short fuse and doesn't cross any lines unless if he has to, pushing him too far can be really messy; and even Trevor knows that before he was about to kill the so-called couple this isn't going to end well. And when Floyd sees Trevor was going to be like, "you have got to be kidding me! Please get the hell outta my house..." Also, the fact that Floyd is being treated like crap by both Trevor and Debra shows that the latter two have many things in common than you thought. Debra is the epitome of an abusive girlfriend, she neglects and cheats on Floyd. She enjoys a lavish lifestyle and a executive position of a company while Floyd is an average working man. Trevor, being a crime lord himself, commands total obedience to his henchmen, which is why Ron and Wade are scared of Trevor. That said, Trevor and Debra have a very domineering attitude, the only main difference is that like what Professional said, Debra is a narcissist and an abusive girlfriend, while Trevor uses fear to keep anyone in line, friend or foe alike.

And every GTA game has too many evil people around them -- some that are just domineering bullies (Sonny Forelli, Ray Boccino, Ray Bulgarin), scam artists (Devin), backstabbers (Catalina and Dimitri), drug addicts (Big Smoke, Billy Grey), or even corrupt law enforcers (Tenpenny, Francis, and Haines). Hell, every GTA protagonists aren't saints either, they commit crime for a living without question (Claude), part of it as a tradition among gangs (CJ and the Grove Street Families, Toni and the Leone family, Johnny with The Lost MC), being unwillingly roped into it thanks to a one bad day (Vic, Luis, and to an extent Michael), hardened criminals who had run ins with the law but managed to gain success (Tommy and Trevor), or some just for the sake of revenge (again Claude, Niko).

Another big mystery in hang 10 is how Trevor takes over the strip club. He just rolls up, puts Leon in the fridge, and he's the new boss. His rule is never questioned by anyone. Franklin knew Leon, Lamar did too, the girls probably all know him, the regulars probably knew him too. You could argue that Franklin and Lamar might have an idea of what happened and didn't say anything, but I'm surprised about how calm the employees are around Trevor

Before it cut to the black screen you can see that Trevor was looking straight to Debra, his aim was to only kill her. Considering the “Weasel news report” real, Probably Floyd went to try and defend Debra and she shot him without a second thought, so Trevor picked that knife and made something very brutal with Debra, thus the very bloody window, exactly were Debra was positioned. Trevor avenged Floyd and took Mr Raspberry Jam as a tribute to remember his fallen friend

More likely, they are chunks of window glass that fell out of the window when it was cracked, presumably by Debra's body while Trevor was stabbing her, which, given where Debra was standing prior to the cut to a black screen, was likely on or near the kitchen bench.

If a person fell against a kitchen window they would just fall through it.. You can't stab a hole in a regular window without it shattering into pieces, its not a car windshield. Here's what I think happened: Floyd charged Debra. She shoots him and it fatally wounds him; we never learn how many gunshot wounds Floyd had. He falls forward. Even though she doesn't care about Floyd, she's not a killer and she's never shot anybody, so she freezes. In that moment, seeing Floyd wounded on the floor, Trevor is enraged and charges her. Debra may have still been in shock over shooting Floyd and also terrified of Trevor in that moment, not to mention inexperience with firearms in general and being in such an intense situation, Trevor gets to her and kills her. We also don't know if Floyd died immediately; based on Trevor's expression after closing the front door, I think he died in Trevor's arms after some time.

Just finished the video. This video is a masterpiece. I never even knew who Bob was and I thought he was just a random npc that showed no significance. But yeah, I think Debra shot and killed Floyd and then Trevor, in his crazy rage, tackled Debra straight into the kitchen window. Then grabbed one of the kitchen knives that were on the counter near where Debra was standing. And stabbed her multiple times until she was dead. Great Lore Video Pro! Thank you so much. Also I wanted to point out that Trevor most likely killed Debra after Floyd was dead because he was pissed off about he Debra betrayed Floyd. Like you said Pro, Trevor hates betrayal. Theory: 42:08 Trevor might have hit Debra in the head with a headbutt, as seen with his head being bloodied a bit. He does this with the other protagonists when they follow him too much. You can try it by following Trevor as Franklin. I think Debra, after being hit in the head lost consciousness and thus allowed Trevor to use the knife without any struggle from Debra.

We know Trevor goes by a strict code of conduct, one of his tenants is his inability to betray his people. He could not have killed Floyd since he is trying to help Floyd get out of that relationship. Killing Floyd would end up in betrayal. Debra shot Floyd first, she then went into a state of shock and adrenaline realizing she killed her first person. Trevor took the knife and killed Debra knowing when she finally got out of her shock, he would be next. He stabbed at her head and neck area. (IE why the blood was able to reach the kitchen window 's level) After he kills Debra, he tries to save Floyd, but he couldn't. (IE why he is covered in so much blood.) This is the best description that I could fit to the scene, that would fit with all the personalities of the characters in play here.

22:00 Floyd mentions he tried the room last night, meaning he went to either a suite or office down the road at her job but no one was there. Which could confirm the theory that she might be out around town with Bill/Bob or jet setting with him. As for the photos at Maze Tower, it could just be a company photo. As for what happened in the condo, I think Deb shot Floyd and Trevor killed her out of retaliation with the knife Floyd would have used on her. I never read the wiki article about their altercation. There is a possibility that considering all the blood on him and the window, is a possibility that he bashed her head into the window. Also, I don’t think it’s hard to believe that Trevor didn’t get cuts from stabbing because he’s experienced. He’s killed people and knows how to kill people. If it’s a first time altercation, it’s not that surprising that people in stabbings have cuts on their hands because they don’t know how to use a knife. 32:13 I think the reason Trevor looks like he was hit a bit by Deb turning on Floyd is because he saw a bit of himself in Floyd and for her to talk to Floyd like that probably triggered some deep seeded issues from his life growing up.

I always knew what happened, and this video just proved what I already thought. Trevor killed Debra, not Floyd. Floyd died either attacking Debra in rage, or died in cold blood murder by Debra, then Trevor went full berserk mode and decimated Debra. We'll never know, or maybe we will if some mention occurs in a future GTA game. And yes, Lamar is aware of the murder, but does not really know what happened. Or if he does, he doesn't care and won't tell anyone, as Trevor is his "crazy dude" friend. I actually felt bad for Floyd. He could have been a good addition to Trevor's team, and even him looked a bit regretful about what happened. Trevor might be the literal incarnation of the average gta player, but he has lines he will never cross. Betrayal is one of them, so there's no way he killed Floyd.

Some speculations I have about the case: - Trevor doesn't have any cuts could be explained by the knife floyd grabs, which looks like it has a very ergonomic handle which would make it hard to cut yourself, and by the idea that trevor is likely an experienced stabber - Trevor leaving a messy crime scene and not getting caught by it could be explained by him not having fingerprints. Having committed so many crimes in the last decade and not getting arrested, and living with conspiranoic ron, it wouldn't be far off to think he bleached or filed or burned his fingerprints - Trevor getting to Debra for the stabbing is explained by Trevor's berserk ability. Even if just as a gameplay mechanic, it speaks of great resilience and tenacity from Trevor. It could also be that being a rookie shooter, Debra jammed the gun (from using it incorrectly on floyd or from not mantaining the gun correctly before using it) Great video, never knew about the sneak floyd calls or lamar's interaction

To add onto the point about the book, Chains Of Intimacy is a very obvious 50 Shades Of Grey parody. It even says it’s soon to be a motion picture. I don't think Floyd attacking Debra matters in this situation. Debra already didn't care about Floyd, now Floyd is holding a knife against her, she would most likely have shot him regardless. Since Trevor had no weapon, I believe she killed Floyd, which angered Trevor, causing him to bash her skull into the window over and over until she died. It would explain the blood as he is up close and personal. I literally always thought this was this obvious answer.

I have seen this cutscene a few times before, I know that Floyd and Debra are dead, but I don't know happened when that cutscene ended with a black screen, and reappearing Trevor closing the door with blood all over him. I heard that Debra shot Floyd and Trevor stab Debra with the knife that Floyd had. That's all I know about. But I feel bad for Floyd though. And I don't know who Bob is? I think Debra is seeing Bob, over Floyd, because she's dating Bob and she wanted to break up with Floyd.
