Our Torah predicted the advent of the Jewish and Islamic nations. It tells that one nation will be large and another nation will be small but with much power. This is the Islamic countries and Israel. When these two have completely consolidated an learn to work together then the world will know a new era of peace and godliness.

When a child does something bad we let them know its bad and the child now has a guide line. The parent forgives the child because they learned from their mistake. That is also how our father in heaven is.He forgives.,knowing we are a better person for it.But if we keep making the same mistakes over and over we are not learning and what goes around comes around. The longer it takes to come around the greater punishment it will be. Be square with world.Let your pillow be a place of peace..Let it be a place of prayer...Dont chase what or who you love because they will run from you.

Hell is when you live turned on yourself, in your mind, thinking about yourself, avoiding suffering, thinking about pleasures, and you feel lacking all the time, because you are looking for everything time to acquire something... and when you REALLY turn towards others, and because, you are looking for something to give, you no longer have a lack, you have too much... you reach paradise, you have so much power in you, you become a kind of adorable father to everyone.

Hi Rabbi, I have been listening to you since I discovered that being Jewish was not being forced to go to shul once or twice a year. I don't understand Hebrew and my family was from, that generation that thought being Jewish was embarrassing. I never understood anything it is like all the good stuff is hidden. Maybe I just like magic. Maybe it is hidden otherwise. But I was in my late teens or in my 20. I found a small room full of your old tapes, disks, books. Every night I could not wait to begin listening to your voice but I didn't hear your voice I was told I had 2 souls it blew my mind. and all their is is G-d. No all there is is G-d. I got it. The 4 worlds, it was a gift as I am not smart. But I remember the gates and I remember being pushed, or I mean I felt like beginners luck, but still it was Madonna K. I was a plant that had been cut off. Sometimes I mention things I remember and people laugh at me I don't know why they don't feel in awe. The idea that the past, future is all the same. Thank you for doing what you do!

A wiser person than the Rabbi who was also a King said some 3000 years ago the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Know the difference between right and wrong and do what is right in the Lord's sight. Unfortunately in attaining much wisdom is much vexation. And he who increases knowledge, increases sorrow. So fear God and obey His commands for this is all man is made for. Does life seem more complicated than this? Yes! But we unfortunately complicate ourselves with vain and unimportant matters.

Punishment is actually corrective action according to the person's ability to learn from the point of where they are currently. It is stronger and more volume of prior correction until they are able to turn themselves towards a better behavior where they can actually recognize the benefit over a period of time and understand better the benefits that is taking place and the character growth. Every person is in somewhere in that process of becoming better human for themselves and unto others. You've heard some say it's another day different face and the the same ol dung. That means you are starting to understand the repetition is trying to tell you to change your behavior, change your mind if you want a different outcome.

Of course the answer to the rabbi's plaintive "why" questions is *_moral relativism._* Once moral absolutes are banished, all that remain to be considered are the possible consequences of a contemplated action. But of course the rabbi knows that. The tragedy of our time is that so many refuse to see it.

There's no such thing,as an unselfish act! Whatever you do, you first spend a certain amount of time thinking about and preparing for it to occur. Then when you do it, if it doesn't fit into your preconceived ideas about it, you'll blame the other person for it!

some people genuinely served people their entire life, not for reward (material) there is always gold gathered there is always a reward that comes for goodness, GOD always gives gifts whether they are material or spiritual, one can be depressed by the cruelty and the relentless of the attack, the viciousness , where there is no acknowledgement of these wrongs, people can genuinely despair for good reason, serving others won't help if the others are unreasonable, it won't help them, it won't help you, it can be depressing being alone, knowing that there are attackers and lurkers who have access to all areas of ones society and who only wish to oppress and cause harm, then its ok to retreat or strike them the minute one sees their behaviour is insincere and inauththentic, devious or dangerous. Come on lets be real, there are many many reasons and some people have a litany of good reasons to not put oneself in danger for GODs sake. Because GOD wants this. Its depressing though, its not all roses, there is also times of extremities.

I erroneously learned growing up in church that if I did something for someone when God prompted that it was his way of keeping A kind of score. Not a perfect balance but close. The biggest battle I've had with God was being good enough to use to protect others but not good enough to receive. This just created conflict. I no longer save drowning children, no more men dying in upside down cars, no more neglected children, no more wells in Sudan. Its not worth the internal turmoil. These requirements can be left to the corrupted officials that were protected when I was being destoyed. Live and let die, they might have lessons to learn, that was the excuse I was given....
