The incompetent commissioner believes that controversy and assaults on court will increase TV viewership and ticket sales. She has no interest in protecting Clark or any other players from thuggery. She is delusional and is definitely not worth her $3 million a year salary. The NBA (50% owners of the WNBA) needs to fire her sorry @$$ and hire someone who will grow the league around Caitlin Clark and the new players that join the WNBA. The thugs like Reese, Carrington, DeShields, and Carter need to go. So does the he/she, Bob Grinder.

I have some names for you. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Stephen Curry. All these players changed the way basketball is played and nobody complained about them getting too much of the spotlight. You can’t blame Caitlin Clark for playing the way she does. In a league that has never made a profit, everybody should be thrilled.

I even played basketball at my past church family an my best friends parents house.

Why is playing physical such a badge of honor for WNBA players? They just wind up looking like oaffish, clumsy train wrecks. Better to coach them to play smart and avoid the contact. Speed and agility. Brute physicality is for hockey and rugby. Not basketball.

the wnba is not basketball. but, caitlin is going to teach it/them how to play the game. and so far she is winning. the coaches, the refs, and the opponents are out to get her like a bunch of Karens. she smiles and says please and thank you. she dribbles then slices a running 3/4 court bounce pass thru defenders to a breaking Boston. that kind of play is NBA material and she deserves a place on the all-star team. yes the NBA all-star team.

The wmba before clark was not worth watching. That was because the players do not know what basketball is. They think playing physical is what fans want. They got a reality check when Clark showed up. The fans want to see poetry in motion. That sells tickets. The fans will not pay to see ghetto ball. The sooner the lesbians and the man who thinks like a woman learn that and put it into practice, the better for the league. As simple as that.

The last question of 'Is the league ready for this level of change?' is the correct one. They'd better be because, like it or not, CC is here. It's not her who needs to adjust. It's the rest of the W. Every team has had to adjust their D to try to contain CC and her buddies. So far, no one has done it and the rough play seems to be their only answer. That hasn't worked either.

I am a FAN.... finally I can put my observations into words..... this KZbin video is a summary of everything that Caitlin did to help her team win the game: (her assists, rebounds, steals, layups, 3-ptrs, passes, hussle, that all occurred in 1 GAME).... this is my point: have the commentators watch any game, and focus on a veteran player (any player) and compile what that player did in that game to help their team... Did they pass, share the ball, look for open person, 3-pt shots, layups, drives, etc.???.. At the end of the game, the summary does not show a TEAM PLAYER... it does not show a player who involves their team mates... It shows a talented INDIVIDUAL who scores..... That is why NOTHING ABOUT THIS PLAYER STANDS OUT.... if that player DID ALL THE THINGS THAT CAITLIN DOES, of course the announcers, fans, and team mates would notice.... and all the attention (OF AN EFFECTIVE TEAM PLAYER) would not be on CLARK......

Lot of people have lost a legacy over this AND THEIR NAMES WILL never mention again without Caitlyn name being talked about!!!! Near defence it’s gotta be hard to work hard for all these years, to bring the WNBA to reality All for your efforts to be ignored within a few months playing at a standard that’s never been seen before, by any rookie or an experience WNBA player But the jealousy bitterness is so disgusting, extremely embarrassing and unfortunately Confirms scott

It's simple really, who else has as many flagrants' (brutal) committed against them? Continuing to ignor what's happening could end in serious dismay for the league. If she gets hurt revenue will plunge and God forbid a serious injury will be cause for the WNBA brain trust to plunge into the more than stupid category! Flagrant, egregious fouls such as the brutal ones committed on Clark, should be cause for ejection!

Your "Dark Truth" - Is it that the old guard of the WNBA is a clique and their harassment of Clark is "hazing" ? I think this old guard needs to grow up and smell the roses. I read recently that most of the past MVPs have started to praise Clark and her accomplishments. There were a few who initially had the old guard mentality but have come out in interviews just recently that Clark is "all right". The real Truth is that the "Clark Effect" is the tide that raises all boats and these old guard need to come around and embrace that.

Just look at where society is today. Morals and value are the name of the game. Ask yourself this question, how many gay men play in the NBA? People are tired of the woke agenda. NOW, here comes a straight white gal with exceptional skills and the WOKE are flipping out. Remember, Nike went through the disaster of Collin Kappernack. Where's he today? It's my opinion only I'm stating here. I think if people look past the pettiness of being a rookie and look at where society is, people just might comprehend what are the REAL issues here. Before Clark arrived on the scene, nobody cared about the WNBA. Just my opinion. Agree or disagree with me, I don't care. It's just my opinion. As a veteran, I fought for everyone to have thier own opinion.

@ChalkedHoops - what TF you wanted to say? What's your point actually. I might be stupid, but honestly... I don't get it! 🤔 Let's jut take in consideration facts 1) she crack several records 2) she is a long distance sharp shooter as also player under the basket or any point on the court. She scores or she enable other teammates to score. She is insanely good play-maker and she is unstoppable. 3) she humiliated every bully and AH who attacked her. Not by words or mistreat but with deeds - her marvelous game and humbleness. 4) she simply set new standards what is a good play and that's not cozy for present WNBA "stars" because they simply can't parry her Watching her opponents in comparison to her is like watching people with a hangover to play basketball. Her statistics shows the same picture. And yet...She is not the best... Give me a break! 5) Such a fast success kicked crowns of some heads what causes anger, envy and jealousy. But if I can understand those envy b...s go harsh on CC i can't understand referees and WNBA officials tolerate that in such ugliness. What's too much is too much. What I've seen on video clips - that was disgusting. And that happens a lot also in other sports in US (that's why I despise US sports politics - nowhere in the world I noticed things would go so ugly and rotten.) 6) She is really good looking woman. She is not an outstanding beauty, but she certainly is a good looking, feminine with a good taste what to put on herself and (important for lots of men) natural (no artificial nails, lashes or too much make up). That catches the eye and counts counts at contracts. Some players looks like Frankenstein - not really something what little girls would like to be. My resentments... 1) referees - Allowing so dirty play against any player - that's not referee! That's an AH, garbage and lowlife. 👎 2) WNBA officials - WTF are you getting your salary for? You should be fired, and sued for causing financial damage to WNBA. 👎🤮 3) Selectors tor Olympic games - Seriously??? You overlook such a player and giving such lame excuses and lies? 🤮 Is there in US no one who would stop that shit? 4) CC's teammates - Girls! Are you serious? Go and hide in your sh... holes where you were before CC was drafted! She is your superstar! She dragged you out of sh... where you were before and put you on the WNBA map. She makes you good better too. Your job is to defend her and not being just a bystander! Go and look some NBA games how it is done when their star is attacked. What you allowed happened to CC is disgusting and shameful! 🤮 I rest my case

I'm real sorry but a inch long fingernail that is on a psychos finger could have ended her career. That woman is a creepy grotesque. Id get out if I were CC. Even NIKE sucks. No more money to Nike from my family. Whatever 22 wants is what I want. Screw this psycho league CC. You have choices.
