This actually fits in perfectly with my headcanon for my sorcerer tiefling DUrge🤩🤩🤩... Ignoring the fact Raphael only loves himself, I always imagined that my DUrge (before amnesia) was kinda jumping between Raphael and Gortash because she was attracted to power which they both had. Less romance and more "If I play my cards right I can get something out of this". But I still kept the "Raphael being bad in bed" thing as something her and Haarlep would laugh about.😂😂😂

That's great! I didn't actually make anything up or cut things up to make the story go one way. None of the lines were altered. This entire video pretty much sums up Raphael's relationship with Durge in the game, straight up. Don't know if they'll become romantic (We can only hope Larian delivers). But they have more tension together than all of the companions x the player combined. Did you know there are more than two things meant to be said when interacting with the orb in the devil's fee? When looking up in-game data, one of the lines that seem not to appear says something like this: "In the orb, you see a lewd image of yourself bound". Many people had the theory that Raphael would use your body if you slept with Haarlep and not kill Raphael. Turns out they were right. Because this line is only supposed to show up if you didn't kill Raphael. The proof is in Tumblr. You just have to scroll back far enough to find it. The tags are Bg3 and Raphael. edit: My mistake. it doesn't say anything about being tied up. I might have gotten it mixed up with something else. The line is something like: " In the orb, you see an image of yourself so lewd and blasphemous that it stains your soul." Yes. I think it's funny that people still deny and refuse to believe it. The proof's been shoved down their throat in game and they still won't believe it. "He's not a bottom! Haarlep said 'beneath'". Gasp! It can't be! Bottom and Beneath are synonyms? Could it be that they worded it differently because they needed a more graceful word for Raphael takes it up the as-? Could it be that the word 'bottom' just didn't fit to the elegant writing style?? It's the majority wish to remake Raphael into a Dom and a top. I would say leave Raphael with the tops since we get nothing unless we play the strong body type. But let's be honest, the majority of Raphael's fans are women and bottom men so larian will most likely cater towards them and retcon the idea of him being a bottom if they ever do decide to add his romance. Larian is a good boy like that. They listen. Hopefully their ears are big enough to hear the people in the back too. If not, it's cool. I enjoy having no romance in all my playthroughs and still plan to play that way on future playthroughs. When that "DomTop Raphael" romance comes out , I'll eventually lose my interest in him like I lost my interest in Astarion the moment he picked my character the first time I played BG3 in early access. I'll still enjoy playing an expansion pack with or without the romance.

Hey idk if you know but if you want more editing material there is a mod that allows you to transform companions into other characters and one of them is Rapheal, doesn't use his voice but it's good editing material. Basically you can use some of the kissing and romance scenes for editing.

Plus, I feel the tension between the dark urge and Raphael is already hot enough that their edits don't actually need those scenes. I've always preferred the canonical edits. You're not crazy. It's one of Tav's lines when speaking to Wyll about Raphael. I used AI to clone Tav 3's voice to use for edits. What modded parts stand out to you? Head, hair, clothes, reshade? I use way too much to list everything down so specifics would make it easier to point out the names.

For the clothes, I used basket full of equipment and the transmog mod. I know. It's a shame. I would've preferred a voiced tav. but it makes sense that they just couldn't afford eight voices for 20bajillion lines. Yeah. That was me for the first few playthroughs until I realized the "mega happy ending" makes your choices have little impact on the world. It's just some collateral damage and everything continues back to the way they were. When getting Raphael's ending, something actually changes in the world's structure due to the player's choices while still having a sort of happy ending. Well, at least I was happy with my choice. Now I can go back to the hells to see mayhem rise and Karlach won't die. Still, I think it's a better ending than a "destroy the world" or "nothing changes" ending.

So nothing you will ever say, do or think will ever be special. And perhaps the only times it ever was special was when the first person made the first good, bad and in between kind of choice as it had never been done before. IMO u rarely ever see a story where the evil guy wins so to me thats the "special" one. And games hardly let you play the villian and stay evil all throughout and win

It would have been perfect if evil dark urge ended up with the son of an arch devil. We already have a good path companion: karlach/wyll. We need a pure evil one, someone so cruel and merciless that it would make even the devils cry. I pondered whether evil durge would be perfect with Cazador, but gortash and Raphael come the closest for being the better fit for such a creature.
