Hi Adrien! First of all, great job! Amazing timelapses and great composition in every shot. As I'm going to Tenerife this summer (from the 1st to the 8th of August) I wanted to ask you some questions: 1) are there places above the clouds accessible via car, without having to walk too much to get there? 2)do you have some suggestion of places to go to get less light pollution and maybe a clear sky? 3) was the milkyway that visible at sea level?!?! Again, great job, keep it up!

Giulio Collotta thanks a lot! Yeah as you can see at see level, you're always gonna have some mist. What you wanna do is shoot as much in the mountains as possible, as you will go above most clouds. Up there, it's accessible by car and there at parking lots made for shooting and vistas, and you will get clear skies most nights, but still a bit of light pollution from sant Cruz and the shore... good luck and I hope to see some great shots :)

Thank you Night Lights for confirming once again that 'The Heavens declare the glory of God, day unto day and night unto night' (From Psalm 19). He is Risen, and He is Lord of all.

This is so beautiful that I cannot find any word to describe. I am so excited now because I have booked the tickets to Teide after one month. Amazing you gave this video to me. Would you mind sharing the exact place or ways to get there to shoot the milky and stars. Thank you so much.

Very nice timelapses. Do you use LED panels to light up your night scene foregrounds? I've experimented with that for a while, and it seems to work great.
@NightLightsFilms8 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jonas! No I don't but I should! That would prevent those flashes. Are they big to carry around? I was limited in luggage for this trip :)
@JonasHholt8 жыл бұрын
+Adrien Mauduit I have done it a few times using a small LED camping lamp which runs on AA batteries. The LEDs can run for a full night and they have a very constant light without introducing flicker/flashes to the timelapse. With the bright exposure setting on the camera at night It's hard to balance the LED light vs. the night sky though.

Yeah it's true! I also come and check the camera and my frontal lamp creates a lot of light pollution... I'll try the LED thing for my next batch of time-lapses. Thanks for the tip :)

Beautifull time lapse series, what lenses did you use with the 7RII camera = great for astro! How about battery life?

+BjornR Vink Thanks Bjorn! I used my sony 28mm f2.0 the most, but also samyang 16mm f2.8. I have a 10 hour AC power-supply bought on amazon for time-lapse, because battery life on the a7r2 is very short, since it is a small camera... :)

Can you add the Amazon link for the 10 hour AC supplier for time lapse, thanks. Great video by the way.

Fantastic job ! If it is as shown in the video, to see it with your own eyes or just close to it i am getting so worked up ! I am going to Tenerife this month and im planning to see just this, i have never seen it before and it is one of my biggest wishes ! Can you tell more about locations thats best for this view ? And temperature at night at this altitude ? Thanks so much for this video !

You can't see it just like this, but trust me, if you go on top of the volcano, you will see way more than you are used to! It is so dark up there, and you will see the milky way for sure with the naked eye! :) Have a good trip!
