I was 19 years old the first time I saw the night sky outside of a major city... I could not believe how many stars there were.. I was literally speechless as I stood on the side of an empty road in complete silence for about 30 minutes starring at the sky. It is such a shame that we have lost that perspective... Ever since that day I've been wanting to take a trip somewhere where there is zero light pollution and clear skies for serious star gazing.. I just happened to find myself on the road in central Florida that night going through swamp lands with no civilization in sight on my way back home to Miami Lol..

I live on the edge of a city in a foresty place, half the sky is filled with stars and the other half is filled with city lights lol Nowhere near this tho, I can see the galaxy some days depending on the weather, but it's barely visible. It's already enough to have me staring at it for half an hour lol

When I first saw pictures like this I thought they were fake. I’m 16 now and I’m just realizing they’re real. I live in NYC so I don’t see this ever. When I first saw a sky like this, it was when I my went to parents home country and stayed there for a month. We came back to New York about a week ago. I saw so surprised looking at the night sky and I couldn’t stop staring at how beautiful it was. Especially how there looked like there was a galaxy in the middle of the sky sprinkled with a thousand stars. Even the moon was like 5 times bigger than it was in New York and it was really yellow too. Sorry if this sounds stupid but I was afraid of it, it looked so surreal, something out of a dream. I looked at for about an hour and a half, sometimes looking at the moon, the stars, the galaxy looking thing, or all of it together. I feel so weirded out that the sky looks so clear and different in some places on the planet. I honestly thought at first I was on a different planet when I saw it. My mom tried telling me how different and how beautiful it was from her home but I brushed it off as an exaggeration.

It was after watching this gorgeous video for the hundredth time that I began experimenting with night/timelapse for the first time. GoPro Hero 10 and Insta360 One R 1" can't achieve this level of detail, so the cost for the equipment used must be at least as equal or higher than that of a medium-category car (at least 4 zeroes behind the number), and the skill of the individuals involved into shooting and editing it speaks for itself! As for Nigel Stanford, his composing/musical skills are at a completely different level than that the vast majority of other artists. A masterpiece that I'll never be able to even come close to, let alone surpass. 🙏

I saw this in New Zealand when I visited. I could not believe my eyes for the beauty of it. I couldn't get enough. I live near the equator, and in a city so I never see this.

*Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them.* -Marcus Aurelius I wonder how beautiful the night sky would have looked almost 2000 years ago.

Ahh, good to see I wasn't the only one getting those vibes. While the guitar style is not exactly like Pink Floyd there definitely does seem to be a David Gilmour inspiration.

francuz1969 that’s the first thing I said when I heard this: this could be a Floyd tune. Glad I’m not the only one who make that comparison. 🤙🏻

Mind blown ! Mesmerising ! Breath taking ! It’s surreal to realise that a mind which evolved from the stars themselves gets stunned at realising its own creation !

Monsier, you are a genius! I like both the Cymatics video and this one very much. The experience on an IPS FullHD screen is amazing. You got all my respect! I'm sorry that I can't help you with any money :(. If I had it, believe me that I would've bought all your works.
