I was 19 years old the first time I saw the night sky outside of a major city... I could not believe how many stars there were.. I was literally speechless as I stood on the side of an empty road in complete silence for about 30 minutes starring at the sky. It is such a shame that we have lost that perspective... Ever since that day I've been wanting to take a trip somewhere where there is zero light pollution and clear skies for serious star gazing.. I just happened to find myself on the road in central Florida that night going through swamp lands with no civilization in sight on my way back home to Miami Lol..

When I first saw pictures like this I thought they were fake. I’m 16 now and I’m just realizing they’re real. I live in NYC so I don’t see this ever. When I first saw a sky like this, it was when I my went to parents home country and stayed there for a month. We came back to New York about a week ago. I saw so surprised looking at the night sky and I couldn’t stop staring at how beautiful it was. Especially how there looked like there was a galaxy in the middle of the sky sprinkled with a thousand stars. Even the moon was like 5 times bigger than it was in New York and it was really yellow too. Sorry if this sounds stupid but I was afraid of it, it looked so surreal, something out of a dream. I looked at for about an hour and a half, sometimes looking at the moon, the stars, the galaxy looking thing, or all of it together. I feel so weirded out that the sky looks so clear and different in some places on the planet. I honestly thought at first I was on a different planet when I saw it. My mom tried telling me how different and how beautiful it was from her home but I brushed it off as an exaggeration.

It was after watching this gorgeous video for the hundredth time that I began experimenting with night/timelapse for the first time. GoPro Hero 10 and Insta360 One R 1" can't achieve this level of detail, so the cost for the equipment used must be at least as equal or higher than that of a medium-category car (at least 4 zeroes behind the number), and the skill of the individuals involved into shooting and editing it speaks for itself! As for Nigel Stanford, his composing/musical skills are at a completely different level than that the vast majority of other artists. A masterpiece that I'll never be able to even come close to, let alone surpass. 🙏
