A trick I learned from Amanda of planterina years ago to redarken leafs that get washed out, a little chelated iron once a month until color achieved again. Glad you’re still making content, I miss her chill takes. You have a cozy chill vibe that draws me in too

my personal fave used to be the ZZ 'raven', it is super tall and my oldest plant (probably, idk) and its definitely a classic, maybe a little boring some would say. but now that solanum uleanum looks insane, love those fan shaped leaves! just goes to show that there is basically an infinite amount of super cool plants out there! also very cool video idea

I have a ZZ Raven and they are beautiful, especially when they are full and wild looking ❤ I got mine last year and I'm amazed at how quickly it's grown and how many new stems/stocks she's given me

I so enjoyed video. I’m a huge fan of dark foliage. I loved that first plant you showed. It’s stunner. I’m very surprised that you don’t have a raven ZZ in your collection. Most ppl have ZZ’s as flour plants but imagine a Raven as a hanging plant. Especially when the stalks are really long and start to curl over as they often do.

Ope, I need to comment again because I didn’t get around to it on your low light vid-your Ludisia discolor is AMAZING. It seems jewel orchids are always photographed from above when they are very small, so I had no idea their growth pattern looked like that, or that they flowered so profusely. I’ve always found photos of Ludisia discolor to be kind of boring, but seeing yours totally converted me.
@beckyfrichek8190Сағат бұрын
I just learned about moodeanum in an Anthurium group, and I love the look of it, and Queen of Hearts also looks nice, but there’s also Red Beauty, which is an andreanum cultivar (? finding info on this stuff is always so sketchy), and is a bit more red than the other two, but has huge, deeply lobed leaves that look very similar to moodeanum, and I think I might like it the best, which is great, because I think it’s also the cheapest

Anthurium andreanum Black ,some really dark leaf species excist that bloom black flowers regulary and you can get them in the gartencenters.
