I've started reading "Shadow and Bone", so far it's great, thanks to Leigh Bardugo's wonderful imagination, I will continue with the rest in the series. I would absolutely ship them if he hadn't tried to use her power by force. Mal is kinda boring as a love interest and I think Alina and Aleksandar had more chemistry, but it's really hard to root for someone who tries to control people they "love".
