I fell for these two immediately once I started watching this show last week. I know that their relationship is toxic, but their chemistry was just unmatched. Plus, I love the heroine/antagonist dynamic that they have going on. I'm excited for season 2 and what they may or may not change from the books. I haven't read them, but I know most of what's coming and that things can change, so we'll see!

The amount of times I've watched Shadow and Bone just to see these two is insane 😂, but this edit is gorgeous. You can't give me a boy of darkness and a girl of light and tell me they don't belong together. I'm sorry but Mal is sooo boring, and I really don't see any sort of chemistry between him and Alina. The dynamic between The Darkling and Alina is insane, and I know for a fact this man was falling in love with her. If they were together, ohh my god it would be incredible and I understand the Darkling despite his methods being wrong. He's not evil for the sake of being evil, he's doing it to protect his people. If the Fold was gone there'd be no stopping everyone else from attacking Grisha. I get him, and I wish Alina would too 😩

asdkjagf this is beautiful! the chemistry between these two is part of what makes the ship so fascinating (in addition to the whole villain x heroine aspect.. but maybe that's just my love of dark ships coming into play).
