Best final boss in the Skylanders series, it really creates the ambiance of you have to defeat the darkness in order to not only save Skylands but the entire fate of the World depends on it

I just find it really dumb that The Darkness needs the combined power of all 8 elements to be simply kept at bay, and throughout the game you try to find an extra component for the core of light to destroy it as well as the dark rift engine to seal it away, both in vain, and he can simply be fought and destroyed. Then why bother with the other stuff?

I may or may not have all the superchargers in my possession, only issue is I don't use them at all these days. Nightfall is the best one though by far.

the ultimate final boss...a culmination of a 4 year journey...should honestly have been the last thing we fough in the enitre series...a final showdown against the ultimate final god of pain, darkness, chaos and destruction. an epic battle worhy that of gods themself, the battle ripping through time and space itself...honestly one if not the best final boss across all games i have ever played

This fight felt super anticlimactic to me.. maybe a more chaotic and more difficult and constant attack pattern could have really brought the whole all powerful vibe, think to Trap Team Kaos had a good level of chaotic feeling, admittedly the fight was limited by its use of the vehicles, maybe having a phase on foot could have helped

If you want a harder fight put it in nightmare mode and try and glitch it. With any hope your skylanders should drop like flies as your vehicle floats aimlessly around into the darknesses obstacles. It’s hard but also fun.

Here's my idea of a true challenge; having Skylanders from all five of the games up to that point take on the Darkness in multiple phases, each making use of unique traits (like needing to use the special moves of Giants to harm the Darkness, or the Swap Zone powers of the Swap Force to disrupt its power).

I know they wanted to make the sea and sky areas optional in case you didn’t want to spend money but I would have loved if this fight used all terrains for it and if you didn’t have a sea or sky vehicle they could’ve had you use a temporary one just for the fight

Trigger Happy To think, I was almost disappointed when the credits appeared after Kaos was defeated, just when I expecting to fight the Darkness too, But........ SURPRISE! He finally shows up, interrupting the false credits! Thank goodness it wasn't over yet because, if the game really DOES end after you defeat Kaos and NOT fight the Darkness, that would've been a total letdown.
