Saw them last weekend and Justin was def wearing in-ears. It'll def help to save his hearing and keep him going for many years. The wire was taped to his back, as I got a good look as he rode directly past me on the shoulders of a security guard in the closing song.. lol. At one point he was closer to me than my wife who was standing directly beside me. Such a badass show. :)

It's amazing how good of a lead player Dan Hawkins can be typically playing rhythm but he can just as well play lead which is awesome

How many Thin Lizzy shirts does Dan have? ha ha. Of course, I'm not complaining. Any TL fan is ace in my book. I saw TL 3 times (twice in the 70s) and later on the China Town tour. They always delivered the goods live. Brian Downey was/is a great drummer. Anyway, glad to see these Darkness videos.

I love the Darkness, but I think when I saw the in ..must have been 2013 or so they were better.. I hope of course they continue to rock always..and that Justine cuts loose more- refinds himself..because he and the rest of the band are great entertainers...maybe a break and revamp with a new revived stage act and presentation... they should rule the rock world. new big effort form their management and booking agency... they and their music deserve the best on every level.

Probably so he can hear his guitar better. The wedge monitors don't look up to much and side fills give a general mix for the band. He's not wearing in ears. He takes one ear plug out at one point

@@jimbarx7088 it doesn't mean his hearing is wrecked. Unless you've played on lots of different stages it's hard to understand how it can sound to a performer. On a big stage there are zones you can hear some instruments better than others. Sometimes it can even seem quiet. On a small stage the volume can be so overwhelming all you can hear is fuzz
