Yassssss!! Like people really need to watch Ethan and Trisha because they are such a good dog good example of how to treat people with serious mental illness. He even makes me feel heard and understood even though I’m just listening. I think it’s so amazing to watch how he would react before versus now to how he reacts and to see how he has learned and grown with her

I feel like Trisha is well...Trisha because people and women particularly are always written off as "crazy" just for showing emotion or weakness in some ways and never got the emotional support she and every human needs. I'm glad she's doing better by the looks of it.

Exactly, I really appreciated when he talked through the logic of ignoring the little drama channels instead of writing her off as “crazy” or “overreacting”. I think that conversation was really good for both of them

Yes!!! If the other person get angry as well NOTHING GOOD HAPPENS! Us borderlines really need clear minded people around us to help sooth us out of our worked up state and Ethan does this PERFECTLY! He is so understanding and so kind! Trisha is on a great path and I hope she succeeds with it!!

The fact that Trish can genuinely ask Ethan if he thinks she is overreacting, and she can trust that he will give her a genuine answer and love her no matter what, makes me so happy (: she deserves to have a great support system in her life, she’s been deprived of that her whole life it seems and she’s really thriving now I love to see it

His authenticity with her and respect for her is so amazing. That’s true friendship. You know he’s not just in it for the drama when his response to her was to not let it bother her and waste her time. Its what she deserves and honestly I think it’s a great friendship for Ethan.

trisha talking about how she sees her 19 year old self in tana and how it’s gonna mess up her mental health in the future is so sad. but it’s so true and its a good thing that trisha has now realized she was being “used and abused” (as she said) and can educate others on it
@aleigh805
@aleigh805 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've been saying this for a few years, I just don't have internet clout. One day in the future (days are long, but years are short - &the future will be here very fast) Tana is going to look back and regret so much. And the regret will be compounded by guilt and anxiety and it will slowly eat her into a depressive state where she is second-guessing every decision she ever made to the point where she won't even be able to focus on the present or future. It will consume her and by the time she gets help to mentally stabilize herself, she will be depressed all over again at how long and how much effort it takes to attempt to reverse the damage. Alot of which, in some extent, is connected to being reckless and negligent. And one day, she will have to face herself and struggle with drawing a line between self-blame and self-care. And it will create way bigger of a mess (internally)than all of these 'scandals' combined created. Because it's one thing to feel out of control of your surroundings... but it's completely different to feel out of control of your mind. You can escape your surroundings as an adult, but your mind follows you. She needs to chill and really start reflecting now.

@William i see where you are coming from but tana being sexually taken advantage by older men, just like trisha went through, is a lot different than just being successful and people being jealous. don’t forget that. being sexually used and abused as a young woman isn’t gonna make you successful it’s gonna f*** up your mental health. trisha experienced that first hand and all she said was she sees it happening to tana and she DOESNT want THAT for her. not that she doesn’t want tana to be successful.

I went through the same thing as a teenager and it’s really true. You think it’s fine and that nothing can harm you if you just wait for it to be over. And then suddenly you’re thirty and have to go to therapy and struggle with everything. The harm that can be done to a teenager is devastating

Ethan does not get enough credit for being there for trish and her mental health, he cared about her like a baby sister and really stood up for her and was a good friend to her... i hope she realizes what she did wrong and kisses and makes up with them and allows moses to see his own fuckin sister...... breaks my heart when drama like this happens especially to family.

Or 19 year olds it’s weird and we don’t even have much in common like what can u do for me or talk to me about u can’t even buy liquor or go into most clubs at that age lmao I don’t understand the huge age difference mostly men go for in teenagers from 17-19 if they are in their middle 20s even .. I remnr I was groomed by men myself I was 17-19 and men 30-40 would want to be with me and it disgusts me to even think about it now

Idk, I feel like it depends on the context. Also as Ethan said you don't just become an adult when the clock hits 12. Did she just turn 17? Or almost 18...? And if she is happy and healthy then who are we to judge? I remember they made a whole video together (Brendon and the girl) as a reply to Trisha saying they are both happy... then again power dynamics and 7 years is quite a big age gap. I think it's much more of a grey area topic but the internet prefers black and white. props to you keeping it legal. Welcome to my thinking out loud rant, chime in ;)

It is NEVER okay for open flirting. Doesn't matter to me same sex, same age. We deserve to live peacefully without getting pressure like that. If we WANT to be open to it, we can use certain words and conduct, like being flirty. We can say out loud, I LOVE me some older men! As a former young woman, I have been violated, damaged, and traumatized by over aggressive unwanted advances. I seriously have my hand want to slap the gross old man that says sleazy things to the young innocent gas station or Burger King girls. 🤮. I flirt with no one, and I still get unwanted advances and words. STOP it! Any gender/person STOP doing that! Ladies, get u a nice ring on ur hand, it does block some. And anyone u really want to accept their attention, u can say hey, this is for creepers!

What i hate out of all of the David and Jason and Don drama is that they have a decently young fan base, and those kids are going to think that its okay to treat people like that. I actually think this recent Shane arc is strengthening their friendship. We all know that if Trisha is anything, it's loyal and after having two breakdowns on the podcast and having H3 not demonize her for it coupled with their ardent defense of her from Shane, Ryland, and especially Jeffree I think is affirming her trust in them. Not saying it's gonna be smooth sailing forever, but she's clearly becoming more and more comfortable with them and less antagonistic. It's been pretty incredible to watch.
