This was the first jazz tune I ever heard - many years ago at a concert at the Links Hotel in Montrose, Scotland and it hooked me for ever. Teaching European Languages in High School, some friends invited me on a Friday night. It was quite a rush to get there on time and I was pretty stressed when I arrived after a hard week. At the first notes of music I felt instantly relaxed and all the stress melted away, this was the beginning of a lifetime's love of jazz and jazz musicians.
