I feel there is an underappreciation of the concept of throwing a 'catchable ball'. The fumble was a not good play by Russ, but it was a very good play by the defense.

We read the short story entitled, “The Catbird Seat” by James Thurber. It was said to be inspired by the baseball broadcaster, Red Barber. I’ll bet you never expected to read a response referencing an SSA middle school teacher in the context of your sportscasting. 😀

I didn't start Steelers Depot. I helped start Steelers Nation Radio. And Dave Bryan & I started The Terrible Podcast together. But he got upset one day and decided to kick me off & took the name & small revenue stream. Never spoke to me again. Needless to say I didn't think it was very professional.
