@BrutuxMusic There were a few reasons for the rebranding, mainly to dedicate this channel specifically for modded videos [both MC and other games]. It's totally understandable if it's not quite catchy though, fortunately it does allow for a fresh slate on narrating and editing videos, which has fortunately worked well thus far.

Amazing showcase, sucks that the mod has quite a few compatibility issues with other mods especially Epic Fight mod, and the developers don’t really seem to care about compatibility and just new content (they should focus on both if they want people actually playing their mod)

I just saw the item image of your potions, Shrimp's Distinct Potions, I love the texture if equipped with Optifine but TDE has issues with optifine though, and am currently looking for a way to use the textures with an Optifine Alternative.

One and my main problem of the mod i found is how it doesint play nice with new or overhauled biomes. If you have a mod list with dozens of new biomes, you may never see these dinosaurs if your unlucky.

Doing this for a few years lets you change your style and see the opportunities in making these unique! :D Mob and biome mod videos I think work well with the documentary style which are pretty great to script up and then other videos I adjust the video style accordingly so they fit better.

Certainly the strongest video I've had since the rebranding and to be frank, the strongest I've had in almost 2 years [for the first 48 hours that is], falling behind Dynamic Trees. I'm trying to alternate the mod showcases between the latest version and an older version to ensure that newer and older players get the best of both worlds. There was a poll I posted about 2 months ago that showed 1.12.2 was the most played version, but from only 178 players, which is a small sample. It's definitely something I keep in mind when planning out the next mod videos too but since there's quite a few mods now updating to 1.20.1, I'll have to think on it. Thanks for your suggestion!

There is a way to adjust their spawn rates, but I had no luck when trying to find it. I did recall someone in the comments having a config value for the T-rex spawn rates.

You can, but I had a problem where I tried to change the spawns to make the dinos spawn more rarely because there's too many of them, but when I ran the game, the configs would reset back to their defaults. I was using the most recent 1.20.1 version of the mod. I was in a desert and a ceratosaurus kept spawning in the same spot over and over, and every time I lured it away, another would spawn in that spot again.

I just continued using Occulus and Rubidium. I know it mentions that issues can occur on the mod page, but the only major issue I saw was the player's model not rendering when on dinosaurs. Fortunately, there wasn't too many shots with that and so I continued using shaders.

I’m currently making Jurassic part, however some animals need to be separated because , even when tamed, their area damage aggravated others to attack. Is there a way to remove this?

When opening up the tamed creatures menu go to Behaviour -> Passive. I think they'll stay passive then so long as you don't get attacked, but I did notice after getting attacked that it does reset to default? Hopefully that works, all the best with your Jurassic Park!

@@CrittersModMenagerie Exactly, the stomping and/or if they sprint counts as attacking, so one attacks back and then it revokes the passive behavior

@thediamondking5931 Damn, that's annoying how it resets it back to default. Unfortunately, I thought that would have been the way to fix it but beyond that I wouldn't really know. Nothing in the config files either, whether it's a known bug or something that was overlooked I'm not quite sure. Maybe their Discord server has something regarding it or worst case, just keep them separated until a new update comes out.

@randomahhguy3 I used 0.58.94 of The Dawn Era, 1.11 for Astemirlib and Forge 47.1.44 for this video. Oddly enough, I did have problems getting it working on a different instance when using a different Forge version, maybe that's the cause? Try using the versions above to see how it goes

You don't need to install CurseForge (as in the launcher). Simply download the mod file from either modpage on CurseForge or Modrinth and put it into your mods folder in your Minecraft directory (with its respective mod loader of course). You'll also need to add any other mods the mod requires (for this, I think it's Astemir Library)
