A friend of mine died right before the season and he was the biggest Vol fan I have ever seen. He wore Tennessee orange every day, 365. He locked his door and put a sign on his door, Do not knock on this door during game or do not call me ,I will not answer. You could hear him scream outside his house on every play, Ha!. RIP Tom.

Thanks Boogie, love your show. I have never given up on Nico, like so many fans. He grew up and matured a lot in the second half. Now they can spend the bye fixing it. Nico made two incredible throws, and that run in line with Sampson was awesome. The Defense, wow, best defense in the nation. Alabama is the best offense they will face, better than GA until the playoffs.

Nico grew up! This kid is really good after he runs and when he passes on roll outs. He seems to be more accurate rolling out than he does when he's simply standing in the pocket. We have to continue to allow him to run but he needs to learn to slide. Getting Dylan Sampson and Deshaun Bishop to the edge or outside does wonders for this team, since they're both speedsters, especially Bishop who seems quicker. I hope we see some of those Jamal Lewis type toss sweeps to our RBs, to give them space to work. The half back passes are dangerous as well!! I think the real Nico has woken up! The game looks to have slowed down for him in that second half.

FOR ONCE this year, EVEN WITH 11 penalties, I'm just enjoying beating Alabama, because Alabama didn't lose the game and hand it to us like Florida did in 20 different ways. I think we turned the corner in the Second Half with this offense. I could be wrong but they seemed to find themselves in the 2nd half of this game, and it starts with Nico, the O Line, and the Receivers. Sampson has always been a beast. The Defense has been elite and will continue to be. We have improved in the Secondary so much. Im surprised that Bama didn’t find a way to pick on our linebackers with the absence of Keenan Pili. But Arion Carter and Jeremiah Telander played solid in this game and they will only get better as time goes on. Glad we have a Bye Week and our child, the Kentucky Wildcats coming up. Georgia is starting to play their best football now as evidenced against Texas last night. They will be ready for us. It’s going to be a showdown in Athens. I will be there, can’t wait!

To those that doubt the Volunteer's Defense, look at Milrose running stats. Our Vols have a tremendous Defense with much improved speed and better tackling. Our D Line makes life extremely hard on everybody. I ride with Nico, he is getting the experience. Playing QB in the SEC is a tough environment. Nico showed the heart and determination it takes. I hate all of the idiots that claim to be VOL Fans that attacked our players from the 2nd Series in our games. Yal can't handle SEC Competition - yal are fair weathered bandwagon fans. Our Offensive Line played better, especially in the 2nd half. GBO. Congrats on a Great Victory.

With this win for Tennessee: they've know won two of the last three meetings against Alabama after losing 15 consecutive. This is also the first time since 2004 and 2006 Tennessee beat Alabama consecutively in Knoxville. However, this is now the 4th time out of the last 12 conference games in which Tennessee did not score more than 25 points. Again, it's great for Tennessee that they defeated a team they usually don't beat, but they still need to improve on offense because for the first time since 1963, Tennessee went three consecutive games without scoring any points in the first half. As for Alabama, this is the first time since 1929 Alabama lost twice in the State of Tennessee in the same season. This is now the 4th time Alabama had two or more losses in the regular season within the last 16 years (2022, 2019, and 2010 were the others). This is also the first time since Nick Saban's first season at Alabama, 2007, in which the Crimson Tide lost two games in the regular season before November. And the problem with Alabama is that they lack discipline and what happened that night was weeks in the making now that Saban is gone. From the Alabama player punting the football in celebration after defeating Georgia to the Alabama player vs Tennessee flopping on purpose (after being told to do so by one of the members of the coaching staff), if Nick Saban was still coaching, he'd a ripped the players a new one. But at least this is a rivalry once again. I really hope the league expands to 9 games so Alabama and Tennessee can continue to play because even though I am an Alabama fan, I was born and raised in Knoxville, TN and this is a rivalry I hold very near and dear to my heart. Even Nick Saban on College GameDay said that the Tennessee game was a bigger rivalry to his players than the Auburn game because they wanted to wake up for the Tennessee game while having a harder time getting up for the Auburn game. Another classic game in this long played rivalry, although the previous one in Knoxville was way better and one of the greatest in CFB history.
