That actually would be a good puzzle, even if we knew how to solve chess. Since more then one opening will lead to either a forced win or draw, there is not one best move. All puzzles have one move that wins the game outright, and all the other throw the game. At the start you can play more then one move and still get the optimal result, tho most likely in a different amount of moves, they still give the same outcome.

@lexistential3 жыл бұрын
@@-yttrium-1187 you're more likely to become a billionaire even. ~2300 billionaires vs ~1500 grandmasters, not even considering the super GMs at his caliber. a low GM could still lose 99% of their games against hikaru
@davidloh31473 жыл бұрын
@@lexistential well god damn
@-yttrium-11873 жыл бұрын
@@lexistential I thought about that but playing chess increases the chance of becoming a GM. So the correct comparison is to find the ratio of people attempting to become good or GM at chess versus the amount of GM's. total amount of chess players range from 200-600 million. best case scenario of 200 million with ~2000 GM's would put you at 1/100,000 or 0.01% which is significantly better than your odds to become billionaire but globally the amount of millionaires is 0.9% and in north america and europe a respective 7.3% or 2.3% which is higher by a factor of 90, 730 and/or 230 compared to chess. Meaning it might truly be easier to become a millionaire than GM by even the most conservative estimations.
