I always play d3 against Alekhine defence. There is a pub in Oslo called the Good Knight, claims to be the worlds only chess pub, I got served by a GM last time I was there looking forward to playing there again in a. Purple of weeks. Nice wins Will. The first one was special.

In the first game: Before Rh8 I think you may have had Nxf3, Nxf3, e4 (forking the knight and queen - pawn can't take because of the rook pin on the queen), so Qd1 for instance, exf3, Qxf3, Rxd3 (sacrificing the rook and forcing the queen away from the defence of the g2 pawn. I may have miscalculated or even missed something that white may have, but I think he's either going to get mated or lose his queen with a checkmate very soon after. Again, I may have miscalculated as i did it in my head but it looks like it should work. Edit: I suppose after Nxf3, Nxf3, e4, Qxf4, exf3, g3... Then maybe something like h4, then he can trade queens but then he has to give up a bishop as well and you still have the pin on the king, so perhaps instead Kh1, hxg3 and so on. It just looks like a crushing line if my calculations are correct?
