It took my mum months to acclimate but once she did it was fantastic! Celebrate your achievements regardless of how they measure against your wishes/expectations. OH WOW Eirin, This is so huge. Beyond huge. When I saw the thumbnail I started out loud like screaming and jumping and saying yes yes today is the day. I am so so proud of you and your perseverance your patience. laying in the bed for seven or eight months, it takes something so otherworldly to be able to put up with that. I watched from the beginning to hear as much as I could and wow I'm blown away so blown away. Thank you so much for sharing this with us we are here for you. All of your organs are relearning to function at a different angle... plus blood flow, and I'm sure your brain must be completely confused. ❤❤❤ Eirin! Wonderful 5 minutes!!! I pray that things move forward for you! I do have to share a story though… your lift brought back a memory that is so dear to me, maybe it will make you laugh… My father had cancer, and we had him on hospice at home and would use a lift like that to get him in a chair for a bit to change his bed. Well, one time my sister didn’t cross the bottom straps, and my dad slipped… and his bare butt was all you could see!!! He laughed so hard, it was great to hear! He said he knew he would find a way to show his a$$! He had us all laughing and it took twice as long to get him back to bed! So this video was special to me for two reasons! Thank you for sharing your journey… it is a spectacular one! ❤😊🙏🏻🪽

Such precious moments! You look easy to be lifted out of bed- I'm comparing with my very big father who we had to help get lifted while he was paralyzed! I also remember how i wouldn't understand why being in a gradually upright position with assistance was so important for people in rehabilitation, why the angle was slowly changed until fully vertical, why time was being increased gradually, why nurses and physiotherapists were congratulating patients, until i saw the progress and hardship with my own eyes. It's certainly a shock to the body! Your news bring me teras of joy! May it be a smooth rehab road back to the chair!

Dear Eirin, In 1976 my brother GUY was coming into his bldg where he worked ,after lunch ,and he was Shot . He was 22 years old.It was supposed to be an accident but who knows. I was 16 then. He bacame a quadriplegic. I helped take care of him till he turned 60 and passed. So I have seen so much in that time and met alot of people. Guy enjoyed shopping and spending money! If you have any questions ,ask me ,my dear! I also met a young guy who went to florida to see if he could get back with his ex and dove right into her swimming pool to show off and became a quadriplegic right away but he couldnt even breathe on his own. So their are alot of people who are injured that we dont even know about but GOD has them all in his worthy hands! Please hang in there ,You dont know me ,but I care about you!!GOD BLESS your little soul!
