@@NetsGarage I have one that is very similar. Black ‘96 Celica convertible. I’ve been rebuilding it for a couple years. I would be heartbroken too if my baby was damaged like that.

Just bought my 1st Celica! 6th gen, 1994 black coupe lift back. Its basically a hardtop version of yours and seeing it wrecked scared the hell outta me! I have this feeling of impending doom that some idiots going to run in the back of me.

@@scottparker9078 Hmmm. Well, I have a few ideas. You could call the junk yards and see if you can source a used set. I'd also check eBay. Additionally, there's a FB group called "The Official 6gc Group" you could ask the group, someone might have the parts they'd be willing to sell you. Do you only want to replace the fronts? Do you want to stick with OEM parts, or are you willing to go aftermarket? I hope you're able to find what you're looking for. Good luck!

A few years ago i caught Scotty Kilmers channel Inspired me to look for a Celica picked up a 93 Gt Convertable . Fun riders the biggest fear is the same as yours. Really a tragedy. So i decided to look for a spare and found a 91 Gt Coupe hopefully they dont get hit . Sorry for your loss . Loved the clips that you shared.

This is so bad what happened. I want to buy one also this model after a couple of months. A manual with around 170 hp with 3 speakers on the door panel.

I have a 1997 Celica GT convertible and was wondering what octane fuel is recommended, or what you use. 87 89 or 91? Ty

Hey Celica Friend! So, for my 5SFE GT convertibles I use 87. They’re stock and it’d be a waste of money to use a higher octane fuel. For my boosted hatchback Celica however, I use 93+ because of the turbo set up. So if your engine is stock, stick with 87. 😀 Hope this helps!

Hello! Thanks for the condolences, I do miss driving this car. I did keep it, however I’m not parting it out right now. There are brand new convertible tops for our Celica’s available on eBay, you can even get the glass rear window! I’ve included a link for you.
